Not impressed
Doctor operated this like a fast food lane. Horribly bedside manner and not interested in answering questions. Feeling rushed in and out of the office. Front desk staff are friendly and professional.

left me with an unexpected bill of over $800
Summary: Dr. Petrin's office has left me with an unexpected bill of over $800.Details:I visited Dr. Petrin for a non-cosmetic issue. For unknown reasons and without explanation Dr. Petrin sent my lab test to some lab (Vicor Lab), which is out-of-state and not covered by my insurance (I have very widely used insurance). This unpredictable action cost me several months of stressful calls, emails, and unresolved billing issues. Despite numerous calls to Dr. Petrin’s office, leaving messages, and speaking with representatives, I received no follow-up or resolution. Same outcome with and Vicor Labs. The issue remains unresolved. This is the clear example how one unprofessional move can lead to very entangled situation and leave client with a huge $800 medical bill!

Dr. Petrin is ok. Knowledgeable doctor. But for unknown reasons, they sent the work to a lab that is out of network, putting the client in a difficult financial situation, causing the client to incur higher costs of hundreds of dollars of loss. This is an inexcusable oversight on the part of the clinic.

Excellent Dermatologist
Dr. Petrin has successfully removed basal cell carcinomas as well as treated me for second and third degree burns from McDonald’s coffee. Not having a lot of experience with burns, he consulted a burn specialist for advice. Vaseline petroleum jelly for six weeks was the treatment and it worked perfectly. The staff are great and wait time is always just a few minutes. After reading negative reviews I wanted to express my own which is positive. I recommend Dr. Petrin to all my friends.

Didn't see the DR for more than 3 minutes after waiting 45 min in the waiting room. I felt like my concerns were dismissed and belittled. And I wasn't taken seriously and given sufficient information. I'd never been to a dermatologist in my life so I was hoping to get quality advice on sunscreen or just general skin advice and have serums and other skincare explained to me.. But no, I was rushed out and asked if I wanted to come back in 6 months, nope. haha Idk next time I'll just go to Sephora for skincare advice. Nice to know I probably don't have cancer yet! He didn't even give me a gauge on how susceptible I am or what my risks are so I can be proactive.

He was so mean. He was condescending, he has no bedside manner and made me feel stupid for even being there. I felt humiliated. I have never dealt with a doctor I hated so much. I would rather stab myself in the eye and kill myself than ever see him again.

Stunned. This place was recommended by a friend of friend. Last time I do that. I made an appt easy enough and showed up at 2:00 for my 2:15. At about 2:35 I was taken to a room. A very apathetic nurse asked me some questions, and she acted like she would rather be getting a root canal than doing her job. The doctor came in (the lady PA), threw a limp handshake at me, then proceeded to plop into a chair across the room as I sat on the examination table. It was a one sided awkward conversatio

I found everything I want in a dermatologist. I can go to them for everything from beauty treatments to serious skin care. The staff is courteous and the exam rooms are immaculately clean. Another benefit is they are on time for an appointment. I can count on getting in to my appointment on time, not sitting in the office waiting room for half an hour after I arrive. How refreshing!
