Dr. Lax is a super doctor. The best. He is kind, caring, gentle, friendly. His office is a very special place to visit. Of course a special doctor would have a special work place. When you need medical treatment for something intimate, maybe scary, rest your mind. You are with Super Dr.Lax!

Excellent doctor --a real gem!! I have seen him for almost 15 years and he is one of the best diagnosticians. He has an incredible bedside manner and has performed 4-5 colonoscopies on me.

I have been a patient of dr.lax for over 10 years. I have ulcerative colitis and he has been able to treat my symptoms so I can live a normal life. Dr.lax is an amazing, patient, dedicated doctor. He spends quality time with his patients, he listens to what ails you! Unfortunately we are leaving New York so I will have to find someone else but I doubt I will find someone as wonderful as dr.lax!! Thank you for your care, cathy Liebowitz

Been with Dr Lax for 20 years and he has performed more than 6 colonoscopies on me. I trust his judgment completely and feel that I get excellent medical advice. He is a good listener and gives clear answers to questions.

I am happy to express my thanks and appreciation for Dr. Lax's professionalism and knowledge. He and his staff made me feel completely safe and comfortable regarding my colonoscopy. He spent a lot of time with me at the consultation before my procedure, and all of my questions and concerns were addressed. During and after the procedure, he and everyone at East Side Colonoscopy center made feel completely comfortable and well taken care of. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I can't recommend Dr.Lax. Although he is kind and seems knowledgeable, he is at the END of his career and does not seem interested or involved. It seems that he is ready to retire. His office help is incompetent and his hours are a mystery. There is no follow-up. They can't schedule patients so you are left with no answers for weeks. It seems a waste of time to see Dr. Lax and I am now going to another doctor. Disappointing experience.
