Dr. James Lai, MD

Following a serious work-related eye puncture I was referred to Dr. Lai in Honolulu by an eye surgeon on a neighbor island which island does not have an eye surgery center allowing for retinal reattachment surgeries. Being able to have my retina reattached as soon as possible after my injury was of utmost importance. I am very grateful to Dr. Lai and his staff for quickly saving my eye from further retinal damage while he and staff schedule months of further eye repair for me. I firmly trust Dr.Lai is doing everything possible to ensure my healthful recovery. Hawai`i is fortunate to have such a high degree of professional eye care available for addressing eye trauma such as I have experienced.
