He's a disaster, be very cautious, living in pain
He did a total hip replacement & I had a hematoma & he said oh your body will absorb it. Next I was in unbearable pain not only in the hip area but in my area around my butt area. Well after he left town unexpectedly a few weeks after my surgery I needed answers to why I was in so much pain. Low & behold Kosiuer had cut threw unnecessary nerves & muscles that affect my back & leg. Well 7 yrs later I'm still messed up having to use a walker daily. I've had a revision surgery to correct the leg length & try to get some pain relief but was told the damage has been done. With him MIA after my surgery, the hematoma & living with unbearable pain, wish I would've sued him for what he's forced me to live with FOREVER! But no one knew where he was!Think before you move forward with him. I was told by hospital personnel that he disappeared. Again be forewarned

I would recommend Dr. Kosiur if you want to have a repeat surgery. Dr. Kosiur repaired my meniscus. It never felt right after two years. He cuts and gives med's. Doesn't thing rehab is important. I'd rate Dr. Kosiur a zero. It's been repaired and feels good now.

He was very knowledgeable, but also a little arrogant. As far as answering questions, he would use a lot of medical terms that I didn't know and I felt like he expected me to understand. When I asked for him to put it in laymans terms for me, he would explain it better but with an attitude as if he was exasperated and impatient.
