Dr. James Kim, MD

Dr. Kim removed one of my kidneys last Friday. He was very clear and professional, and explaining the situation. he answered all of my questions . I was up walking around the same day as the surgery. I went home the next day. They gave me painkillers, but I didn’t really need them. . it was hard to get out of bed or a chair for the first day, but I felt significant improvement every single day. it’s now a week later and I feel pretty close normal.

Great experience for such a sensitive condition - I was extremely satisfied with Dr Kim from beginning to end

Very capable and experienced urologist - i researched him and noted he is the Chief of Urology at his local hospital - i couldn't be happier with his care.

Upon visit, I thought he was great. Little was I to know that he never wrote the Supporting Letter to get my elec. stim device, nor did he even provide the insurance w/anything at all, until Humana called him. Even then, he only sent visit notes, stating that I wanted the device, not that he was asking for an authorization for it. Then I discover his referral coordinator never even contacted the supplier of the device, though I received falsehood after falsehood from her saying she left them messages they never returned. The company verified she never contacted them, period. When Humana & I discovered the total dishonesty from him & his office, he proceeded to get me dismissed from his practice, & then had the further gall to tell my primary that it was rejected because it was "Not the standard of care." I find 30+ med journals & articles stating it WAS the Standard of Care after Pelvic therapy didn't work. Dishonest & deceitful as can be, plus his cover-up of it are despicable

I was a regular patient at Northwest Urological Associates for a few years and experienced nothing but utter rudeness and a poor attitude from the front desk and the staff of Northwest Urological Associates. The only reason I didn't change doctors was because I didn't want to go through the hassle. Today, I only called to make my yearly exam and experience the same rudeness and poor attitude that I have for years. I decided not to deal with this anymore. I decided to change doctors.
