Love this practice
This is a small family practice that finds ways to accommodate you if you have to see them. This is important since I was with anotheR MAB family practice that could never fit me in no matter what. The doctor spent a physically demanding 15 minutes draining a large abscess on my back by hand in the office. These quite often return but it’s been several months and it hasn’t come back. The practice isn’t over ordering blood tests, etc. which I found very common living in Melbourne for a decade. I can’t say enough about the practice, it is a genuinely caring, responsive practice that took me too long to find and then we left the state of Florida. I hope I’m lucky enough to find ya practice in Connecticut this good.

Absolutely horrible staff! I called initially to get my husband in for blood work and a physical since he hasn’t been to a doctor in well over 10 years. He said the doctor looked in his ears, nose and throat and tried to talk him into the Corona vaccine. After I received a bill, I called and asked why no one has contacted us about getting his blood work done. I was treated like a complete fool! The woman with whom I spoke told me if he wants a physical and blood work, go to urgent care. She said they don’t do that without first establishing a relationship. When I initially called for the appointment, I made it clear what was needed but was not told they wouldn’t do it. They sure didn’t have any problem charging. I will be reporting to my insurance. After I calmed down, I called back and left a message to please call me back so I can make a new appointment for the blood work and physical. I still have not received a call back and it’s been weeks. This is the worst staff ever!

I feel Dr. Kearney has a great "bed side" manner, takes the time with you to explain and answer any questions, you don't feel like your a number with him and only have a couple of minuets. But his office staff is a different story, they are rude when you question something and basically if I don't like it, you can go get another Doctor. They do not have their records straight or they don't read them before calling you about something. No confidence in them.

Very personable -- provides thorough information. Always accommodating to patient requests/needs. Spends as much time with patient as necessary to insure patient confidence and understanding -- never hurries through appointment. Office protocol projects image of personal service, not production line medicine.

Dr. Kearney is okay but he seems inflexible about maximizing visits and therefore payments. To get any level of information or service at all you need to come in and visit. You can't always take time off work and drive to his office, pay him, wait around to seem him to be given an answer that takes 2 seconds and should be done via phone or email. There is zero flexibilty and the staff is quick to advise you that if you don't like it 'you are free to see another doctor' if you wish.
