Dr. Kasten doesn't sugar coat things and that is one of the reasons I like him. When it comes to me and my unborn I want to know what is up and want it straight forward and he gives just that. He cares deeply about his work and patients.

Dr. Kasten delivered all of my children. He is very caring and knowledgeable. He also performed a Robotic Hysterectomy on me and I had absolutely no issues at all. I was able to return to work in 2 weeks. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an OB/GYN.

Best Doctor all around. He delivered 5 of my 6 children. I had my second daughter with him and didn't want my babies delivered by anyone else after he did such an amazing job. I love his personality as well. :-)

Dr. Kasten has been my doctor for 29 years and has always demonstrated a kind, caring, knowledgeable demeanor. He is truly concerned about me and my health. I think he is the best!

Dr Kasten was terrible! I am a high risk pregnancy, and when I brought my concerns to the table he told me I was pregnant not diseased and to get over it. Needless to say I switched OB's brought my concerns to her, she did lab work to find out I was severely anemic!! To the point I needed iron transfusions. I will never recommend him to anyone, not even my worst enemy. I will gladly drive to Sandusky to avoid dealing with him!

During my entire pregnancy he acted like my questions were unimportant and he had better things to do. It wasn't just one visit, it was all of them. He has no bedside manner and would completely ignore my husband or whoever was in the room with me, even if they had questions. I felt completely stressed during labor & delivery. He didnt care if I was uncomfortable. The only thing they cared about was I continue to push, even if it meant not breathing!

Very bad bed side manor, he dosnt seem to care for his job, when I would ask questions he would roll his eyes and not really answer the question.

I would never go back to this doctor and would not recommend him. He did not demonstrate partnership, empathy, or respect. He was however, arrogant, condescending & dismissive of my concerns. There was no closure to the encounter. When he left the room, I waited several minutes to see if he was returning. I left the visit in tears after such a combative and degrading encounter. I had to schedule an appointment with a different doctor to address my original concerns.
