Dr Jew performed an emergency salpingectomy due to an ectopic pregnancy last Dec 2023. He was very kind and explained everything in detail. I healed up wonderfully after surgery!

I saw dr. Jew at Banner Desert Medical Center on 4/26/23 on an EMERGENCY basis. I am 17 weeks pregnant with twins and for several days I had back pain severe enough to immobilize me that eventually led to contractions developing every 5-7 minutes —pre term labor began. Dr. Jew took one look at my medical history and said KIDNEY INFECTION and attempted to treat for that and really trying to coax me into saying my back pain was on one side and I was having trouble urinating. As someone who has had kidney infections I KNEW this was not the cause and as I’m in the middle of trying to explain to him what is going on he WALKS out of the room. Horrible bedside manner just for him to shortly find out he was indeed wrong and I was indeed correct. Everything about him was unprofessional and uncaring and unfortunately he is the reason I have chosen not to deliver at Banner Desert. The thought of him being on call during this time makes me worry for the safety of myself and my babies. No way!

Went to him for a biopsy of my uterous. Nothing to prepare me for the procedure. Turned out the pain was overwhelming. He got mad at me because he couldnt get the tube inside my cervix and he walked out of the room leaving me sitting there crying.

Rather than work with my birth control issues- Dr. Jew stated I should just have a baby. Worst OB experience- and this is the only time I have ever intentionally posted a bad review about anything. Do not see this doctor.
