Listens. Is very thorough but does not over-test. Super helpful in being proactive in avoiding heart issues in the future.

I was referred to his practice by my cardio thoracic surgery for follow up after open heart surgery for an aortic dissection repair. Dr. Hochrein was very patient and thorough in the initial visit as well as responsive with questions via mychart. I feel very comfortable with him as my Cardiologist and would highly recommend him!

His bedside manner was friendly, competent, direct, unhurried, thoughtful and thorough. He showed great patience and understanding both with my questions and the rambling answers and stories he received from my 85 yr old dad. He explained in clear easy answers what and why he was doing things and gave his diagnosis in a similar manner without holding back information or his thoughts. He specifically addressed each of our issues. The best doctor patient experience I've ever had hands down.
