Dr. James Gallagher, MD

Dr. Gallagher is a wonderful doctor and I feel so lucky to have found him. He is by far the best. He really cares about you.

I’ve been seeing Dr Gallagher since the end of 2023. He’s very informative and is a no nonsense kind of doctor. He got us through our miscarriage last year. Then this 2024 year, he was there every step of the way for our pregnancy. I find him very thorough and he was able to answer all the questions we had. He delivered our son and made me the happiest mom ever. I highly recommend him.

I have been a patient for 20 years and Dr. Gallagher is a wonderful and very knowledgeable doctor and always have taken great care of me.

We (both wife & husband) would award 6 stars if not limited to only 5!! From start to finish we received absolutely wonderful hands-on care from Dr Gallagher & his wonderful team. His outstanding advice, superb treatment & gracious patience with our never-ending questions were spot on – the proof is our thriving newborn daughter! We feel EXTREMELY fortunate to have found him! The glowing praise of Dr Gallagher from several RNs in the labor & delivery section at the Meese Countryside hospital simply reaffirmed that we were in the best hands possible. If we choose to add to our family we will want only him and his team! We cannot recommend him highly enough!!

Everything about this doctor and his office has been bar none. I am not an OB patient, just GYN. Dr G is brilliant and has the patient's best interest at heart. He came highly recommended by my PCP and I am so glad I went there. Initially, he was unable to see me, so I saw Jessica, the NP, she is absolutely incredible also! They both took so much time to listen to me and to actually hear what I was saying even if they didn't totally agree with me, they listened. I am so happy I am a patient of this office. ALSO, the staff is so nice! They are sweet and caring, and the appointment setter- receptionist took so much time with me and actually got me taken care of. She went above and beyond! It's crazy to say but this office and their staff is like a unicorn in today's grumpy world

Extremely dedicated and hard working, as well as comprehensive. I travel a long distance to see him, because of the quality of care.

This doctor was so arrogant and condescending. He lacked any empathy or bedside manner. He made the worst day of my life (finding out I had lost both of my twins) even more unbearable. He also lied to me about what options were available at the hospital to have my babies cremated. I would not see this man again if he was the last Doctor on Earth

There are no words for me to explain how thankful I am as a patient of Dr Gallaghers. He puts the needs of your baby first, he's extremely hardworking and his knowledge is unmatchable. He is a very busy man don't expect small talk if you are a healthy normal pregnancy he has babies to deliver, moms to keep healthy and much more to do. If you do require extra care that's when you will see he's very kind bed side manner. I have felt so very safe in his care, I know my baby is safe in his care. I couldn't recommend him more! If you're looking for a doctor to waste time coddling you don't bother. If you want a doctor who takes his job serious and will give you a wonderful healthy experience, he's the doctor for you! I'm just so very impressed with his work ethics. Remember you cannot predict what a baby will do. He has a lot of babies in his hands, you may have to wait a few extra minutes while he's in a very important delivery or rushing in between hospital and his office. Worth it!

Im going to keep it short to the point. The Staff is Amazing: Understanding and Nice. Dr. Gallagher is PROFESSIONAL and KNOWLEDGEABLE (its what you need from a OBGYN) and I highly recommend him to all my friends and family.

Dr Gallagher is absolutely the best obgyn in the area! I’m a nurse at Baycare, we all go to him for a reason. He is thorough, honest, conservative, and really intelligent. He’s been my obgyn the past 7 years, and I just couldn’t imagine anyone else delivering my babies or helping me through other gyn issues. When I say he is my favorite doctor I’ve ever met, I mean it. I have been looking for a long time for a doctor with extensive work experience who can examine you professionally, listen to you, give the correct diagnosis and give directions for the necessary tests. And I found him. I highly recommend this gynecologist to the girls!

He is normally quiet but very smart. He is the only doctor I would trust. I’ve been with 2 other obgynes before but he is the best. He absolutely knows what he’s doing.

This doctor made me wait in the exam room for one hour before a biopsy procedure without ever stating why or apologizing. He was not communicative at all. At my last visit, he left the exam room after making only one comment... if I still have problems, it could be cancer.

He is the perfect Doctor, kind, polite and Smart... if you like to have the best care he is the right Doctor for you.

Dr was not friendly, no bedside manner, not supportive about ongoing issues

Dr. Gallagher has been my Doctor for many years. When other doctors were not able to give me straightforward answers about things like birth control options, Dr. Gallagher was able to help me. He always makes sure all of my questions are answered and gives me really helpful advice for situations. He has helped me in many situations and I would recommend him to anyone. He is very trustworthy.

I love Dr. Gallagher , he is the best , I had my daughter with him and I couldn’t have a better Dr. than him, he is very careful and thoughtful with any problem that may arise at the right moment. I highly recommended him!!

Excellent MD! I switched to Dr. Gallagher last year and have had 2 annual visits with him. I used to see a large local group but wanted someone a bit more thorough. I found that with Gallagher, he is straight forward, doesn't chit chat but he's never been rude to me. Always asks and answers questions for me and has cracked a little joke here and there. Overall he takes great notes and stays on top of your medical history and his office is prompt, polite and I have yet to wait in the waiting room. I am in and out of there very quickly and I have no complaints. Amazing I look forward to my annual visit with him because it's a pleasant and thorough experience. Highly recommend Gallagher.

Dr Gallagher has been amazing. I have a high risk pregnancy and he has always been honest and open with me about the reality of the facts. It's TRUE hes not warm and cuddly about it but for some of us who need the straight answers it is a blessing! In just a couple weeks I will be having my first baby thanks to him! Every other ob I have seen has told me it was impossible due to some preexisting conditions but he has been amazing and understanding and has made my dream a reality!

Terrible-treats patients (yes not just me but my friends as well) as though they are animals, so stupid they can't possibly make their own decisions or form ideas about their health issues. He explains mundane tests that I am already aware of and refuses to answer any real questions regarding individualized situations. He is smart but arrogant, rude, condescending, and hurt me at two appts which included burning me with a speculum he out under a hot lamp (which I was unaware was happening)>>>>
