Dr. Bass delivered both of my sons and performed my fibroid removal (myomectomy) During my first pregnancy my husband was deployed and I was alone while having a high risk pregnancy due to the fibroids. He provided me with the care that I needed and delivered my child healthy and beautiful. That was a scary time in my life and he was compassionate to my situation. He was there when I drove myself to the hospital in the middle of the night alone. He later delivered my second son through C section. I have nothing but respect and gratitude for Dr. Bass being apart of my children’s first chance at life.

My son's pregnant girlfriend asked me to meet her at Dr. Bass's office (she has a very limited support system) for her doctor's appointment. When I arrived, I let his receptionist know I was there and asked her to inform the patient. She told me she was "already back there with her grandma". I said "That's great. She texted me and asked me to specifically come up here. Can you please let her know I'm here?" After sitting in the lobby for an hour and seven minutes, I walked to the window and asked if my son's girlfriend was still back there. The receptionist scrunched up her face at me and said,"No, I'm pretty sure she already left." Ultimately I found out that my son's girlfriend was never informed by staff that I was sitting in the lobby. I'm horrified at the thought that his receptionist (the frontline of his office) would completely ignore a patient's wishes and would treat the patient's support system with such disregard.

I will definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a gynecologist or obstetrician. My daughter went to him prior to getting married in 2003. She would still be his patient had she stayed in town but my son in law is in military so they are always gone.

Doctor bass is amazing! His receptionists are always tacky n rude. Been going for a long time. 4 pregnancies but now that im done having kids, Dr. Bass is no.longer accepting new patients for gyno. So I have to go to clinic. So after all this devotion to one obgyn I have to go to clinic cause im.not pregnant. And because, life happens, and ive missed appts., I have to start over as new patient. I dont really believe this is a good way to treat any patient esp.long term ones Dr. Bass really?

Worst bedside manner ever. Dealing with pre term labor he won't acknowledge. Laboring now, but not enough for enough change to admit. Just shy of 36 weeks. Told me I needed to leave because he has other patients with "real" issues. He is very arrogant. I will be filing a formal complaint with my insurance and the hospital. Complaint was already made to the nurse who was present for his treatment. I would not take my worst enemy to him.

Dr. Bass has a horrible bedside manner. He is arrogant and knows about everything. I went in for my annual pap and also help with my menopause. Dr.Bass did not believe I was in menopause (even though I had not had a period for 8 months. I asked about some kind of hormone to help with hot flashes and sweats. At the end of the appointment, he asks me "do you want hormones or not?" I told him he was the doctor, what did he recommend. Long story short he gave me prempro. more but out of space
