Dr. James Dozier, MD

Dr.Dozier is, hands down, one of the kindest doctors I’ve ever met. This will be my second pregnancy with him and I truly can not say enough good about him. He LISTENS. He hears you and your concerns. He’s proactive and has a sense of humor. He’s real and wants what is best for his patients. The office staff is always super helpful and kind as well. I will always recommend Dr. Dozier to anyone! From pregnancy, labor, delivery, Postpartum depression, Birth control insertion and removal, back to pregnancy. He’s been there, and supportive, for it all.

I had many signs that Dr Doizer was not the right Dr for me but unfortunately I was already invested in my future labor and delivery so I felt as though I could not change my provider. After I gave birth to my daughter, he ended up ripping my placenta out of me. Instead of providing it time to deliver naturally. This caused a piece of placenta to be retained for 9 days. I had to be rushed to the ER in an ambulance 9 days post partum. When I confronted him about it he denied it and said it was impossible to be a piece of placenta. Regardless of the fact that the pathology report said it was placenta. He told me I didn't know what I was talking about and it was just a blood clot. I do not recommend using him as your doctor. He will gaslight you and does not respect your wishes for you body.

Dr.Dozier has been so wonderful to me during my pregnancy! He takes the time to really listen to you, I never feel rushed. Dr.Dozier has been such a comfort-so easy to talk to, very genuine, he goes above and beyond for womens health. His staff is just as great too. A wonderful atmosphere and experience all around. I can’t recommend this Dr enough!

Had my first appointment with Doctor Doizer today and all went well, I felt very comfortable with him and when he told me he could do my surgery laparoscopic I was in totally shock.

Dr. Dozier is a fantastic OBGYN. He always makes me feel comfortable and takes the time to talk and see how life is going as well. He is thorough, kind, knowledgeable and wants the best for his patients. His heart is in his profession. Highly recommend!

A little late but I had my first child last December and my doctor was unavailable so he was there instead. I had no idea what to expect and how bad it was going to hurt so when they told me it was about time to push I was panicking a bit, He was calm and kinda funny and made me feel more relaxed and basically just told me “you got this” and ten minutes later I was holding my daughter! Would 100% recommend and remembered his name Incase I have another baby.

Dr. Dozier is a down to earth, very kind and relatable physician. He shows genuine concern for his patients.

My 20 yr old daughter went for her 1st Gynecology visit, before her wedding in October of this year. My daughter is a virgin, so there was no need for an invasive exam. Much talking was done in his office, that was very uncomfortable and had nothing to do with her women’s health. He chose to spend their time together discussing her role as a wife, meal planning, masturbation, and even encouraged her to have a drink before her first time, to loosen her up a bit. So now our physicians are in the business of encouraging under-age drinking? My daughter will not continue with this physician. Dr. Paul is who she really wanted to see in the first place, as he came highly recommended, but their schedules were incompatible. I am sorry my daughter had this experience as her first experience with women’s health.

Dr. Dozier has been excellent... When I came in nervous about having my biopsy done he made me laugh to the point of comfort. I will be having my hysterectomy done and I completely trust that he will do well.... Thank you Dr. Dozier

I have never seen a such compassionate and caring doctor in my entire life. Dr Dozier Just did my hysterectomy on Valentine’s Day and I continue to have an amazing experience with him during my recovery. Dr Dozier is very professional, he takes time to listen to you as a patient, and really treats you with dignity. He is one in a million doctors who provides a wholistic care to his patients- just his tone and his words full of wisdom serve as a treatment to your body, soul, and spirit.

We love Dr. James Dozier! He gave me so much peace during my pregnancy even through the complications. The whole staff is so sweet that I felt like we were all really good friends by the end of it. My kids love going up there and seeing everyone too. We highly recommend him to anyone!!

Dr. Dozier is the absolute best. He made me feel like one in a million throughout my entire pregnancy. We had some unexpected hiccups during my labor and he took them all in stride, which allowed me to do the same. He's an excellent doctor, and after 9 months both he and his staff feel like dear friends.

Dr. Dozier treats every patient like they are VIP. Excellent surgeon, best bedside manner, phenomenal Ob/gyn.

My daughter had her baby early last Saturday morning and was brought to your hospital by ambulance. The baby didn't make it. Dr. Dozier and the nurses took very good care of my daughter. They were all very professional, yet still showed much concern and compassion for the loss of my granddaughter. On the day of my daughters discharge, Dr Dozier came and sat with us and talked with my daughter about her loss, not only as a physician, but also like a caring friend.
