Dr. James Choi, MD

I was requested to fax Dr. Choi recent blood tests before an appointment could be made. I went to Dr. Jun Choi complaining of fatigue, weakness, headaches, elevated RBC diagnosed as polycythemia relative. Dr. Choi dismissed all my concerns. He did not respond to my questions regarding anemia after he received the result for Thalassemia deduction and abnormal low MCHC. I am following up with another hematologist. I am very disappointed.

The Office of Dr. Choi is not to be confused with another and separate dental practice with a similar name here and who isn't necessarily rated as 5 stars like here.As a RN and JD who frequently reviews medical and dental practices, I accompanied an elderly friend to the Park Avenue Oral Maxillofacial and Implant Surgeon, Dr. James Choi, for an extraction. Dr. Choi is a brilliant oral surgeon who carefully examined my friend and fully explained the required procedure and provided a treatment plan. The procedure went forward painlessly without complications and with success. The post procedure instructions and after-care packet provided were explained in detail. Dr. Choi is truly committed to providing the best care in the best environment to all his patients. If only all dental and medical practices could perform such procedures with such compassion and masterful competence. I am pleased to recommend Dr. Coi and his great team of professionals to all.

Dr. Choi exhibited the utmost professionalism by going over each step of the procedure with me prior and constantly made sure I was doing fine during the procedure. Definitely would recommend Dr. Choi to friends and family!

Dr Choi explains the procedure in a way that you can understand. He listens to your concerns. He was very flexible with me coming in to see him when I thought something was wrong. I was able to see him and everything was ok as he explained. The healing was as expected and definitely will come back if I need additional oral surgery.

I found Dr. Choi through a family member. His knowledge of performing the extraction of my left wisdom tooth, is what impressed me. Bottom line Dr. Choi knew what to do and I am thankful that the procedure did not linger which would have been painful and stressful to me. I am satisfied with his services and now I am on my journey to healing . Yes I would highly recommend Dr. Choi to others in need of extractions, etc.
