Dr. Burczak is uncaring, careless, and uncommunicative. I had both carpal tunnel and trigger finger surgery with him at the same time. I was given no helpful instructions as to wound care or rehabilitation. The surgery itself resulted in Lymphedema because I have had breast cancer in the past and lymph nodes were removed. When I went to a therapist to deal with the Lymphedema, she was surprised that I wasn't recommended to a physical therapist to deal with the surgery itself, not just the lymphedema. Also, perhaps I should have asked how the surgery would be done, but I assumed it would be endoscopic. Or Dr Burczak should have communicated the plan to me. Sadly that was not the case and five weeks later, my hand is still sore and the wounds are quite large. I agree with others that he spends more time chatting with his office crew than with his patients. All in all a very bad experience.

Spends not even 5 minutes in the room with us, rude, very slow. Loudly conversates with other people right outside the door, been waiting on him for over an hour. Inconsiderate. He may have talent but bedside manner is definitely a 1/10. Hopefully he gains this skill.

Have had fractures and a need for referrals to another facility that specialized in my problems at that time, and he was on top of who I needed to see and where I should go. If he thinks you have a need to see a different doctor for whatever reason, he doesn't hesitate. He also pinned my wrist with 4 pins, and a therapist told me that I must have needed 4 because he is very conservative and doesn't go overboard with fixing a problem. My family has gone to him and we are all very satisfied.
