Excellent Pulmonologist
I have been going to Dr, Bruno for at least 20 years. He is a dedicated, thoughtful, and compassionate doctor. He cares for his patients and listens to their needs. His staff is very pleasant and always willing to help. He is the best!

I can't understand some of these negative reviews. Dr. Bruno does not rush your visit and explains things that I can understand. Bedside matter is the best. Not an alarmist as some Doctor's are. If I could give this Doctor 100 Stars I would.

Dr Bruno was recommended to me by a SIUH RN back in 2020 and I’ve been seeing him every 6 months since. What better recommendation than from an active RN? And now I wouldn’t want to see anyone else. Knowledgeable, very personable, doesn’t rush, answers all questions. He really cares about his patients!

Very thorough & Office staff pleasant and helpful
Today was my first visit and I was very satisfied. It's refreshing to have helpful and pleasant office staff. He spent time with you and did not rush you. Loved that masks were optional. The downside was that I did wait about 45 minutes to see him. All in all, I was very satisfied!

Good Doctor but Laurie is a beast
In an attempt to get authorization for a procedure I had the pleasure of dealing with Laurie !! I thank God it was over the phone and not in person ! I’m not real sure who she thinks she’s talking to or what gives her the right to speak to patients they way she does ! She rude, condescending and just plan old nasty bit today when I called I had to let her know she picked the wrong one !! Thanks Laurie be sure to tell Dr. Bruno due to your wonderful attitude I’ll be using a new pulmonologist !

I am not a patient of Dr. Bruno. My sister was for many years. She dice in July of 2019 of very advanced lung cancer. I don’t understand how a pulmonologist could see a smoker over the course of many years and not recommend a scan. My sister had an awful and painful end of life and death. Tragic.

This is not the physician for me. I had not seen him in three years so the office staff said I am considered a new patient. I called in Jan and given a March appt. In march I was called and told the doctor is going on vacation. My appt is now at the end of May. Really? The office manager was very rude to me and hung up when I inquured about my records. I would have to pay .75 per page. I wanted to sign a release form and told I have to sign one at new doctor. Disgraceful!

Dr. Bruno is Not the right choice. It has taken over 3 months to get the equipment for my sleep apnea. He has a woman who works there do it at her pace. When asked a question she answers with a snide remark She also referred to me as"her" instead of by my name which she had in front of her. She asked me for my insurance card 4 times I guess that's her way of conducting herself. I wouldn't hire someone like that to work in a people oriented position. I have let others know of my bad experience!!

the office is never open, leave multiple messages (once I finally get through to the answering service) and they never get back to you. they schedule you months later, dr talks to you for 5 minutes and then asks that you come back for a follow up without doing anything? they have to be the most unorganized dr on Staten Island!! VERY frustrating!!
