Dr. James Brezina Jr, MD

This was my first appointment for some recent back pain that won't go away. I was impressed with the thoroughness of Dr. Brezina and his staff....He spent a lot of time with me going over x-rays and discussing the source of my back pain. I highly recommend him.

After years of progressively worsening back pain, my primary doctor encouraged me to see Dr. Brezina. He is conservative and suggested trying other options (therapy and injections) first but neither gave permanent relief and I had lumbar fusion surgery to correct a herniated disk and other issues 3 months ago. I’m all too familiar with orthopedic surgery (12 knee & shoulder over 37 years; competitive sports can do that) but this was different and I was very tentative. The results have been amazing ….. pain was gone immediately, I was walking 3+ miles/day in less than a month, and the majority of range of motion has returned. I could not be more impressed with Dr. Brezina and all aspects of his care and have already referred several people with similar issues to see him. There is nothing easy about this type of procedure and it requires work. But I can now play with my grandkids and am on the way to returning to the activities I enjoy.

Horrible! I went to Dr. Brezina with a back injury I had sustained while at work. The final notes of my injury was far different than my face to face visit. At the end of my treatment I was released with no restricitons with full green health rating. Upon seeking a second opinion I found out that I definitely need restrictions and two other injuries was seen that he did not tell me about. These results have caused many problems for me and I would advise against using him.

I am very disappointed in this doctor. He is not professional and he lies about your problems to other people that contact him. After seeking another doctor I found out that he did not relay to me important information about my health. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone and think that he should be avoided if one is concern about their health.

Outstanding care from a great staff. Dr. Brezina is the best. Results of spinal fusion surgery beyond my expectations.

Dr. Brazina is very professional and has performed many cervical and lumbar surgeries. My surgery which was the more complex of the two was a cervical discectomy and fusion which he executed with total precision. He answered all my questions and his confidence quelled all my concerns. He is an excellent doctor which I highly recommend and trust. Before I went to see him I had been in almost unbearable pain and now feel such relief. Thank-you Dr. Brazina for everything. You have a special gift.

TERRIBLE. My husband was crippled because Brezina told him to get a shot for a herniated disc and then begin therapy. He was fine after the shot, but when he started therapy, his sciatica was worse than ever. Went to a new doc. He explained that you NEVER START THERAPYunti lthe disc heals,,,about 3-6 weeks after the shot. We can only imagine how bad it could have been. New Doc's surgery is day surgery to fix the disc.if needed. According to Brezina 5-7 months?? Run away FAST AS YOU CAN!
