Dr Booker did an open colon resection surgery for me, due to colon cancer. From the first visit to my post op visit yesterday, he’s been great. He came to see me every day that I was in the hospital, and every time we saw him, he was attentive, caring and compassionate. Always had time for any questions, and explained things until we we completely understood. And I can’t say enough good things about his nurse, Maggi. Without going into detail, she went way over and above helping with my pre-surgery preparations. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

If you post a lie you can be held libelous. So, what I am posting is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Dr. Booker took my mother in surgery, where an ileostomy was the end result. Christis St. Michael knew little to nothing about the care of such patients, which resulted in the excoriation of her skin. It was so badly burned, dilaudid, a powerful narcotic, had to be administered before care of the skin around the ileostomy. Dr. Booker’s handiwork caused an extremely high output approximately 3L a day. After several weeks, Christis St. Michael’s transferred my mother to Baylor Scott & White Medical Hospital in Dallas, TX. After several weeks in their care, my mother was able to return home; however, she receives 2L of saline solution IV through a “Pick Line”. Use this information or dismiss it. It is entirely up to you.

I will never recommend him! My mom has had 5 surgeries for the SAME problem. One kept her in the hospital 2 months. She had surgery last week and all he will write her a script for is Tylenol 3. Her incision is opened up AGAIN. And has a 2 inch depth. And seriously, she doesn't warrant anything for pain? Because Tylenol 3 is NOTHING. Home health is coming to pack it daily and she's in immense pain.
