Notice a pattern?
Dr Azurin isn’t interested in knowing how you are feeling, how much pain you are in, or even all your symptoms. Just a number here and it’s a ride on an assembly line. Do you notice the only positive ratings are from men? Woman, steer clear and find a dr who truly cares about your concerns and serious pain. There was a reason I got in so quickly. If you have to wait months for a caring, intelligent dr then it is worth it.

Still waiting for real answers and help – Nov 16, 2023

Just another number
I get the poor reviews. Although the staff was kind, Dr Azurin rushed me through. I was just another number. The appointment felt so rushed and like I was caught up in a tornado. I couldn’t even think to ask questions but they were not welcomed when I did. He talked fast, didn’t let me talk, didn’t explain the painful testing and made it clear you just suck up what you’re going through. No empathy. I realize he does this everyday but I don’t. My symptoms are painful and scary. No reassurance for the future or ways to deal with pain. I’ll get my tests completed but won’t be here long term. It always pays to avoid Drs with bad reviews even if it means waiting to get into well loved physicians. I finally have learned my lesson.

So weary of poor health care – Nov 14, 2023
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Azurin?
Rude, unprofessional and incompetent! If possible
The doctor had me have thousands of dollars worth of tests (which were unnecessary) did not listen to me, was condescending and I will never go back to him. He also sent copies of my medical information to the wrong physician, wrote up my summary and forwarded to my other doctors with misstatements and untruths - regarding statements he claimed I made. Total disregard for me, as the patient. Arrogant and rude - not the kind of treatment anyone should tolerate!

First Time vist
After reading all the negative reviews I was very surprised, There must be more to the stories. I found Dr Azurin Completly oppsite of these complaints. He listened to everything I had to say. He was kind and very ploite. He never rasied his voice or interrupted me. I left his office feeling confident about my treatment and the plan going forward.

Rude, Aggressive
This Dr. has zero bedside manner. He constantly interrupted, raised his voice on multiple times and was the mot unprofessional person I have ever met on the medical field. I left the office more frightened and upset. My daughter was with me and she was absolutely astounded at his complete unprofessionalism. I told my GP that she should never recommend him to anyone!

I would give zero stars if I could. Doesn't wear his mask correctly. Condescending. I've never had a good visit with him - he is one of those doctors who doesn't listen to patients.

I had the worst appointment of my life with this doctor. He was rushed, didn't listen at all, and was patronizing. He talked at me and was rude when I tried to ask any questions about my health or medications to the point that it felt like I was being barked at, and he did not provide me with any helpful information or discussion about my condition. The appointment was a waste of my time and I refuse to see him again.

I had one of the worst experiences of my life today, dealing with Dr. James Azurin. If you want a doctor who's considerate, compassionate, and actually cares, he's not the one. He spent approximately 5 minutes being condescending. And rushing through the most generic Neurological exams I've ever experienced. He even said that he was going to check my records, and left, and never came back. Before that he asked me multiple times, *didn't I already have test done*, and *haven't I been seen by other doctors*. Repeatedly asked who sent me to him. And why was I there. But didn't listen to one word that I said. Asked me to walk on my tip toes across a room. I told him that I had to use my cane. He asked me to try anyways without it, even though my legs were extremely shaky, he didn't even try to support me. I almost feel on the EMG machine. All while he sat with a half smirk and didn't offer any help or assistance. This is when he left, said he'd be back, the nurse came to do my blood press

Today was my first visit with Dr. Azurin, and I found him to be easy to talk with, and very knowledgeable about my lumbar spinal stenosis treatment. I was treated with respect and I am very comfortable with his judgment, and left this visit with complete trust. I highly recommend him.

Horrible Doctor.. Wouldn't listen to what I had to say. Did many test (never told me the blood work I was getting done) Made me believe I had M.S. when the results came back negative he wanted nothing to do.. When asked if I had migraines he basically told me I don't have headaches. My mother went with me; when she tired to ask a question he completely dismissed her and her question saying it wasn't about what I was sent there for. 2 visits i had with him-saw him for about 15 minutes total.

Dr Azurin discharged me from his practice for being late. The first he thought I was late, I had my previous encounter sheet in my car. I actually arrived ahead of time. They wouldn't hear anything about it. Last week, I just messed up. When I was first Dr. Azurin's patient, he or his staff failed to retrieve my records, though he told me that was his responsibility. No one called to reschedule. I got someone to cover me at work, left and sat in his waiting room to learn I had to come back.

Did not ask me to explain what was going on. No interest in listening to what I had to say. Guessing what he thinks might be wrong. Ordering tests that are not correlated too what is going on. Reaching for things. Will just keep ordering unnecessary tests. Waited 1 1/2 hours before he saw me. Not acceptable.
