I have been a patient of Dr. Atkinson for approximately five years. He is very thorough in his examinations, explanations, treatment, and always lets me know about treatment options. My wife is usually with me during the visits, and he makes sure she has a full understanding about what is going on. He is patient, never rushed, and makes sure we leave informed. I would highly recommend him to other men in need of a urologist.

First impression was fine and as long as I had no real urological issues, I had no complaints about this doctor. When I did develop a problem—which I had to ask that he test for—getting timely results from him was like pulling teeth. Of the many doctors I have in Baton Rouge and other cities, I find Dr. Atkinson and his staff the most inconsiderate and difficult.

If you are looking for an Urologist look no further. Dr Atkinson is a very professional, compassionate, caring and detailed doctor. I thank God we were introduced to him to take care of my husband. He listened and thoroughly answered all our questions and concerns. He is not an in and out doctor. I had to contact his nurse and my call was returned in less than 20 minutes. Thank Dr Atkinson and staff!

Very unprofessional doctor and not very compassionate. I would not recommend him to any one. Very pleased with his staff, just not with him.
