Worst Doctor I've Ever Encountered in 69 years
He's the baddest of the bad. I've been on TRT for nearly 10 years and recently moved to the area needing a urologist to continue therapy. Absolutely refused to respect my wishes. He got all bent out of shape over PSA levels of 2.4 refusing to consider twice a week injections which the doctor treating me now said would help and it did dropping to .97 I told him friend of mine had levels of 15 and a prostate cancer survivor who told me at 2.4 I would never have to worry about cancer All he wanted to know was how many cancer patients my friend had treated so I said 'I don't know how many times have you had prostate cancer'. The only profession that guy knows is Milking Medicare. My pharmacy called his office for prescription renewal for BPH treatment and FLUP charged my insurance 200$ for an office visit

Very sick and seen by Alver for a kidney stone in the office. Ordered a CT which found a hydronephrosis but the office refused to re-schedule another appointment in less than two weeks. Seen by another urologist the next day and was admitted. He runs his practice like a factory. There are too many good urologists in the area to settle for this level of care.

I was referred here because of a kidney stone. Dr. Alver spent less than 7 minutes with me, was condescending, and refused to dotreatment. He told me for additional assistance, go to the emergency room and dismissed me. He never asked about my pain level, never explained what my options were, and treated me as a complete inconvenience. The staff was rude and disinterested. No sense of urgency for my pain or condition; took me over 4 weeks to get an appointment. I will never recommend this place.

Dr. Alver doesn't have the best bedside manner, but he knows what he is doing and I would rather have that than the friendliest doctor in the world. I had had 4 bladder biopsy procedures from 2 other doctors before coming to him that were painful with almost a month recovery period, but when Dr. Alver performed my 5th bladder biopsies I had no pain at all! I wrote him at thank you note! And most of the office staff are absolutely WONDERFUL! I would definitely recommend!

I had surgery done by the doctor a few years ago and they couldn't find anything on the surger's. I know they change systems but they surely keep back up somewhere. My problem is part of the surgery. It seem he didn't listen and didn't care.
