Not listened to paying for a lifetime
I went to Dr. Pierce because another podiatrist told me I needed surgery to fix my foot problems. I was judged and only given one option. The option will cost me a lifetime of pain and suffering. I saw her three times after the surgery telling her something was wrong. Now I live in another state seeing a specialist who shakes his head at my feet. He is trying everything to make a situation she made so much worse better. My toe now sits on top of my feet. I don't have to be on my feet for the pain to cripple me. She didn't listen and now I am paying. 52 is not so old that you couldn't have done the correct surgery Being on medicaid isn't a reason to go cheaper instead of fixing a problem that turned into a problem for the rest of my life.

When Dr. Pierce entered the room, she already had her mind made up of what the treatment would be. She never touched my child’s foot only glanced at it while explaining how she would permanently remove part of the toenail. No other options were suggested. She had syringe in hand ready to deaden the toe, when I stopped her and asked if we could go a more conservative route because I was not comfortable. She became visibly frustrated and all answers from then on were one-word answers when we tried to obtain guidance. She left the room leaving the door open, which was our cue the appointment was over. The entire interaction was less than 10 min. She stood outside the door and discussed in a very curt manner stating “I’m not doing anything today”, followed by “Their decision.” I cannot explain how shocked I was at the lack of compassion and the level of the unprofessionalism. If you are looking for compassionate care, PLEASE look elsewhere. You will not find it with Dr. Pierce.

Dr. Pierce is very personable and takes the time to take care of you. It is not a rush in and out like many doctors. She cares and also is very good at giving shots, by the way!! I recommend her to all my family and friends.
