My normal Dr was out on maternity leave so we chose Dr. Melton for a last minute visit since my baby girl was sick. Everything about this place is great. The experience, the professionalism on top of much more. I highly recommend Baton Rouge Clinic and any and all of their affiliates.

Great experience
We saw Dr. Melton as a sick visit for my 5 month old. We didn’t wait at all. He did a thorough exam and asked detailed questions. His nurse was great as well. I also had to message him later that evening to ask for a daycare note, and it was on mychart before 7:30am. Very impressed with him and will definitely be my go to back-up when my regular ped is out.

He was very patient and thorough with the well check visit for my kids. He answered every question we had and went above and beyond to make us feel at ease. He’s very easy to talk to as is his staff. His nurse Heather is so kind and compassionate. Instead of being afraid of the doctor, my kids love to go.

Dr. Melton is the best! He has taken care of our children since they were newborns. He along with his staff and doctors associated with him, (Dr. Drum) have always been very professional and personable. They have always gone above and beyond to give us the best care available. I would highly recommend Dr. Melton to anyone.

Both of my children have seen Dr. Melton since they were born - 17 years in December. I can’t say enough about how great he has been over that time. He’s seen us when we had a lapse in insurance after a job change many years ago, he’s returned calls while trick or treating with his kids when I had a sick baby on her first Halloween. He’s amazing and we love him dearly.

Dr. Melton is a fantastic pediatrician . I have no doubt that he cares deeply about the well being of all of his sweet babies and children. He is very attentive and listens to any concerns I may have regarding my daughter’s health and development. Furthermore, he has the best nurse in Mrs. Heather. If you are a new mom, like myself, and are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced pediatrician to see for your baby’s health, Dr. Melton is the pediatrician for you.
