Dr. Jakkidi Reddy, MD

Mr. Reddy's shameless haughtiness is, frankly, sickening. This is unlikely to be an effect most would seek from a physician.Once he pauses his incessant prattle long enough for the patient to complete a sentence, rather than answer what are decidedly lucid questions, he seems to instinctively resort to deflective condescension, effectively declaring them irrelevant and absurd provocations, as if his sovereign authority is being challenged. Not only is this entirely unhelpful, it is utterly disrespectful and at least -- by reacting in complete arrogance to innocent questions seemingly perceived as an attack on his personal domain, while simultaneously attacking the domain of the patient, i.e., by prejudging their question's rationale -- moderately hypocritical.

He always answers my questions thoroughly and makes me feel like an important patient. Very good bedside manner.

My wife has had 2 strokes and has kidney failure and diabetes. Her health is fragile and when she needs care, she needs it right away. Dr. Reddy always gets her in ASAP and deals with her problems. I highly recommend him. He is invariably pleasant and doesn't take any chances with her care.

I see several specialists. When I started with Dr Reddy several years ago, I asked him to be my 'whole person' doctor as the specialists see only parts of me. I don't feel he does that even though I make sure that he gets copies of labs and status reports from my specialists. Also, he does not do annual physicals , so he doesn't see the whole me. He doesn't talk much, asks very few questions, and seems like he wants to get done with me as fast as he can. I'm looking for a new doctor who cares.
