Dr. Imitola and his team go out of the way to make you feel like you KNOW your MS and are fighting this disease in the best way possible for you as an individual. Dr. Imitola’s expertise is very apparent and reassuring through the entire diagnosis and treatment process. He explains MS in a way that is easy to understand and is upfront, honest, and caring… treating patients like family. I feel blessed to have found Dr. Imitola and and his team (especially Karen N.- who is the most compassionate, friendly, all-around fantastic clinical patient navigator that you want in your ring).

great experience, I learn more in this visit about my disease than in any at the other centers. The doctor is the best in the city for MS, highly recommended. The team is excellent and the infusion nurses are awesome.

Wow where to start. Being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis has been one of the toughest challenge to accept in my life. I had no idea what this was or how my future would look with my little boy. After seeing Dr. Imitola I have a new outlook and restored faith in my journey with multiple sclerosis. From day one through his kind words and explanation of my own disease progression and how we plan to work through this together as a team. I feel such a relief knowing I have him as my neurologist, I am truly in the best care possible with what I am fighting everyday. I would hands down recommend Dr. Imitola to any and everyone fighting multiple sclerosis.

Dr. Imitola helped me understand my disease and is grateful for the time that he gives to me. I saw Dr. Imitola and I found him helpful, he examined me, show me my lesions. He listened to me and uses his whiteboard to explain in simple words. Every patient is different but he is a great MS expert for me that is working for me. I will recommend him, he is a godsend for this awful disease.

Awful, didn’t listen to anything I had to say. He said I have a day in everything we did but after he said that he said I needed 25+ blood draws that day and a spinal tap. I am in the process of changing doctors. He did not make me feel like a person with thoughts or feelings. I would give no starts if I could.

He says he knows exactly what MS patients are going through. Baloney! Only an MS patient knows this type of nerve pain. I saw Dr. Imitola and I found him to be patronizing. I cried because of intense physical pain and he said I'm sad. I said again that I'm in pain and he said it's causing me to be sad. He wasn't listening, was too interested in his white board. Being patronized pushed me to yell, and I would do it again! I am no longer seeing him and I don't recommend him.
