Dr. Jaime Gomez, MD

Very disappointed with the lack of professionalism. I supplied a years worth of medical records approx 390 pages worth. Jaime Gomez told me at the last second before a procedure started that he only read them the night before. He went on to say that what we originally planned would not be the case for this procedure. As I realized what had just happened I was noticeably upset at the lack of professionalism and being led on to believe I still needed the procedure done when in fact what Jaime Gomez was looking for was in the records I had already provided. Come to find out one of the hospital nurses explained to Jaime Gomez I was upset which led to Jaime Gomez calling my personal cell phone to harass and scald me. He exclaimed that he would no longer take me as a patient and that I need my primary care provider to refer me to someone else. Once again proving he never once placed any effort into reading my medical records or even getting to know my situation. I don’t need a referral to se

I was referred to Dr. Gomez for a consult for possible surgery, Dr. Gomez was quick to get me scheduled his office staff was very understanding and professional! Once Dr. Gomez saw me he was very very thorough as I have a long medical history and made sure I understood everything that was going on Dr. Gomez is honestly one of the best Doctors I have had care for me in the past 17 years of medical issues! I needed surgery and he made sure everything was in place and I felt comfortable he was available 24-7 and checked on me every day! El Paso needs more Doctors like him. I am extremely grateful for Dr. Gomez

After having moved to El Paso 10 years ago from Houston/Dallas areas I have been disappointed with so so many of my experiences with doctors and staff. The lack of professionalism and customer service, at times has left me in tears thinking that quality healthcare doesn't exist here. Until Dr. Gomez and his staff proved otherwise. Thank You and hats off to you all for hanging in here so long ! I know it must be hard to maintain a quality practice in such and environment as this!God Bless

Dr Gomez is a great doctor,his staff is so inadequately trained! They tend to mess your appointment and then move them up or down timewise. This is the third time they do this,they do not care and it is very inconvenient when you have other things to do! They need a staff that is professional and not staff that only go to make a paycheck!

I had rectal stenosis on 2021 Dr. Gomez and his office manager ; they where very nice, compassionate, professionals. Immediately I was seen by him ; He scheduled me for rectal sphincterotomy!! thanks to God I recovered very well and my problem was resolved! I'm very grateful for all the care that I received from Dr. Gomez and his staff members.

He is my G.i and surgeon and i think he is a outstanding doctor he cares about his patients and well as his staff also takes care of the patients

Every visit I've had with Doctor Gomez was very imformational, and he explains everything step by step to where I understood. I have had nothing but great visits with Dr Gomez and I felt he was very compassionate and cares a lot about his patients. Hes by far the best doctor I have ever had. I highly recommend him he knows what hes doing and he does it well beyond measures.

He is caring, and takes such good care of his patients. If you need a colonoscopy, endoscopy or other procedure, you can trust Dr. Gomez. He is one of the best Doctors in town!

Dr. Gomez operated on my father. The colon where he put him back together leaked that same night and was bleeding. He instead everything was fine. We had to get a second opinion a week into his ICU stay, but it was too late. He is a horrible surgeon. Avoid him if you can.

Staff was very friendly. Dr. Gomez perfect bedside manor . Explained everything and answered any questions that I had .

I had a few procedures with Dr. Gomez a few years apart. Each time I was at his office, Dr. Jaime Gomez took the time to listen to my concerns, he made me feel confident that he would find the problem and then took such good care of me and gave me the time and compassion to find resolution. He is so wonderful and compassionate with stellar qualities as a physician that I will tell anyone who is looking for a Gastro or General Surgeon, Jaime Gomez is the BEST. I only wish every doctor was as thorough and as EXCELLENT as him. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Jaime Gomez to anyone who wants a doctor who is so dedicated and truly the best.

The best experienced Doctor, Great bedside manners, very professional , knowledgeable, takes the time needed to make sure pts understand condition, and treatment, very pleased with his care over all.

Cares more about the payout then his patients. If you hurt his feelings then start looking for a new doctor but first get a copy of your medical records since he wont transfer them to your new doctor.

I would highly recommend Dr Gomez to anyone he is the the only surgen in elpaso that was willing to take on a long risky surgury I have had a lot of surgeries so there for I have a lot of adhesions that makes any surgury risky for me but despite the long risky surgury he was the only one that stepped up and said I will help you and he done just that I'm so greatful for him he saved my life don't worrie about how long you wait to be seen in his office because the wait is well worth it amazing Dr

I have met him in the past and he is a down to earth person that treats you with a smile and reassuring voice. I feel fortunate to receive surgical care from him for my appendicitis because he was very caring of my health.
