Dr. Thakur
Dr. Thakur is wonderful and so thorough. I had a 9 hour craniotomy and laminectimy to remove a rumor and at home after 5 day in-pt stay. He performs miracles. In hospital he even assisted me walking after surgery.He is the best.

Just had MVD surgery 1/11/24. The pain from the trigeminal neuralgia was instantly relieved. They made you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Best type of procedure I could have chosen for my problem.

My Brain Surgery
I had my Keyhole Skull Base surgery by Dr. Jai Thakur in January of 2022. After consulting with Tulane University and The Mayo Clinic and extensive research, my wife and I knew that Dr. Thakur was the right neurosurgeon to conduct my surgery. I would like to say that Dr. Thakur is not only an excellent neurosurgeon, but he genuinely cares about you as a patient. On the second day after surgery I was able to perform all bodily functions without any assistance and no loss of motor skills. His staff is also very professional and attentive to your needs and concerns.

Husbands surgery
My husband had a tumor removed from his brain stem in Dec 2022. It was a really hard thing to hear. We were referred to Dr Thakur at The Strata Center. We were instantly comforted by his attitude, personality, but most importantly his knowledge. It was a risky surgery but we felt very confident with Dr Thakur. His team is also amazing. Very caring. My husband is still in recovery mode but doing great. Dr Thakur is an awesome neurosurgeon. #1
