Dr. Van Ryn has been my Orthopedic doctor for almost 30 years. He has performed many surgeries on my lower extremities. He listens and explains well, and is compationet and empathetic.

Had "Frozen Shoulder". Went to another orthopedist recommended by my pcp, he gave me cortizone injection without even examining me. Did no good. Went to Dr. Van Ryn, he examined me thoroughly, correctly diagnosed the problem, prescribed physical therapy. Have had no problem with shoulder for over 10 years.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Van Ryn to others. Like most surgeons, Dr. Van Ryn does not 'beat around the bush'. I am confident when he explains things to me, and trust his advice.

Been going to Dr. Van Ryn for over 20 years. Would not even consider going to anyone else. He is the very best. He has performed 4 major surgeries on me and soon to be another. I trust him with my life.
