Dr. Jacqueline Maynard, MD

The absolute worst medical practitioner with zero empathy for her patients. I was new to the area and scheduled my annual health checkup with her. I had some concerns with my IBS which she refused to listen to, and told me an annual health checkup is not the time to discuss any medical issues I had. Very condescending, rude and lacking basic manners.

She was pleasant first visit. I felt like I was putting her out (she was NOT friendly) on my second appointment, which HER office set up. On my THIRD visit, she was downright nasty, rude and couldn't have cared less about why I was there. She wouldn't even let me finish telling her my reason for making the appointment. Any suggestions for a GOOD doctor??? This "woman" is certainly NOT that. :(

Great front office. Fast response at sign in. Questions accurately answered. In -house lab is first rate. Intake process is thorough. Dr. Maynard spends a significant amount of time with me in addressing my concerns and communicating her concerns about my health status. I leave my appointment feeling that I have been heard. I have been a patient for over 3 years.

I love Dr. Jacqueline Maynard! She takes her time with her patients, listening to your concerns and very caring. I have recommended her to my family and friends and they all feel that she is our best choice.

In 2014 Dr Maynard claimed I had a UTI even though I never had any symptoms. I told her I felt completely fine yet she insisted I had an infection and proceeded to prescribe the very dangerous antibiotic CIPRO. That was 7 years ago and I have been living a nightmare ever since. The side effects I suffered were too many to list here. However, the numbness (peripheral neuropathy over most of my body) Still exists today. There were so many alternative antibiotics she could have prescribed but didn’t. She Never warned me about potential side effects of these fluoroquinolone drugs. She never told me there was a black box warning for these drugs. She literally destroyed my life.

I don’t know how you could had a bad time with this caring doctor. Maybe it’s you who feel entitled? She was thorough, caring, listened to every one of my concerns and I had a lot. We walked out with relief and a plan. Glad she’s my moms doctor.

Worst MD visit of my life. Rude and entitled personality and manner. Incomplete exam. Does not listen to the patient at all. Can't believe she is board certified.

Dr. Maynard is very difficult to get a hold of, standoffish, and would not help me over the phone when trying to get help during the Coronavirus Pandemic. She has left me without any care in my greatest time of need.

My experience with Dr. Maynard was and uplifting and positive experience with a medical practitioner of the South Florida community. Her professional manner was above reproach. Her knowledge of issues discussed with me was flawless. She appeared to take great interest in me not only as a patient, but and individual with needs and concerns. I don't feel safe having Maynard as a caretaker of my high risk health problems.

Im sure Dr. Maynard is a great doctor but her staff in deerfield beach office is rude. Having to be rescheduled twice is a topping on the cake. Its not fair to the patients who request days off to make an appointment according to what they say is available. Then to turn around not once but twice ask me to reschedule because the doctor will not be available at the time and date that they gave me. This office needs to do better. Will not recommend wasting your time to even book an appointment.

My experience with MCA /Dr. Maynard and her nurse practitioner Angela has been a great experience . The office staff are very caring and loving . They made me feel like part of their family . Their the best , their very thorough and spend a lot of time with you. I will definitely recommend this office to anyone asking for a great doctor and office staff. I see Dr. Jacqueline Maynard and Angela ARNP in the Deerfield Beach office.

You have to be your own advocate - no matter which doctor you ever see. Phone calls, faxes and follow up calls are very important to get the best medical care from your medical provider. Dr. Maynard has been helpful and caring towards my mom for several years....and I appreciate that.
