A fantastic experience
I came today as a new patient. I am beyond impressed with Dr. Webster and his nurses Katie and Gracie. So efficient, yet incredible bedside manner, listening skills and communication. I’m so grateful to have this team to be home base for my healthcare.

My husband is a patient of Dr. Webster and really liked him, though abrasive sometimes. Dr. Webster prescribed him an expensive medication but refused to sign a PA for our insurance to pay for it. THAT CONCERNS ME! They said bc he does not sign PA's for this particular type of medication. Does he not feel comfortable enough to sign a PA? If so, why does he feel comfortable enough to prescribe it? If this is not his specialty, why was my husband not referred to a doctor who could better help with his treatment? I am confused about this. I am concerned about this. And I still cannot get a straight answer. That is not a trusting relationship between Dr and patient, so we will not be returning to Dr. Jacob Webster.

Did not have a primary care physician, Was referred to Dr Webster by my orthopedic doctor in order to get a release for surgery. I found Dr Webster to be very thorough, actually reading all notes I had written in the new patient paperwork. He was concerned about my total health picture outside of the knee replacement surgery. I feel confident I have found my Primary Care Physician!

Did not tell me what tests he was running. Did not tell me why tests were being run. Spoke in a short, abrupt manner with me. Did not ask me effective questions about my medical situation. This led to him being confused about some of my previous test results.

He ignored my concerns about reactions to past meds and had no personal decision on meds taken for foreign travel. No help at all. Doctors in the past hav given many different types of meds for travel and he offered none.

After enduring some pretty bad experiences with the other doctors I've had to deal with, Dr. Webster is a breath of fresh air. I had virtually no wait time before going into an exam room and just a few minutes wait until he came in. He was professional, but with a wonderful hint of truly caring about his patients. He accepted me as I am, explained my health problems well, and suggested a good plan. I am very impressed with him.

Dr. Oz was on the television in the waiting room. This should have been the first hint at the dissatisfying experience to come. He collected the most general of information from me and then was itching to get out the door. He suggested a multi-vitamin and more exercise. I left feeling like none of my issues were taken seriously and that I was seen as an overly sensitive patient who could be fixed with placebos. I will be looking for a different doctor with much better people skills.
