Dr. Jacob Ossoff, MD

I know my way around medical, even if I'm not a great patient ( I'm not) Dr. Osoff has great reviews for a reason. He is thorough, kind and direct. I have difficult ears and he leveled with me and I truly appreciated his manner and talent. As an important aside his front office staff was pleasant and really accommodating. I was unavoidably detained via international travel and this office was wonderful.

Today's visit was simply amazing. Appointment was scheduled for 0900. I was taken in at 0840 and saw Dr Ossoff almost immediately. He evaluated my surgery site, took me to another room to evaluate referred pain in my ear, had the audiologist do a hearing test, and saw me again - all within 30 minutes. Nothing was hurried , and Dr Ossoff spent plenty of time addressing my concerns. I am fortunate to experience the truly outstanding care from Dr. Ossoff and his great staff.

I walked into Ossoff's office thinking I had Tonsilitis, but after Dr. Ossoff scoped my throat, he diagnosed tonsil cancer. Not only did the good doctor explain the cancer thoroughly, but then he managed to get me into Dr. Hinni at the Phoenix Mayo Clinic campus. In two weeks, I had an appointment at Mayo to have the cancer removed and a complete schedule of services to ensure the cancer did not return. Remarkable turnaround time for services rendered. Dr. Ossoff saved my life.

Had a surgery at there office for a nasal polyp removal. He did a pathology test twice to make sure nothing serious a CT scan. Got everything done with in a month. Dr ossoff was patient with me even though i repeated same concerns and questions. He gave me options about remove of the polyp pros and con of the surgery did not pressure me to do anything gave me time to think it over. He called me next day after surgery to make sure I was okay or if I had any questions. Overall a fantastic doctor would recommend.

I am very pleased with the care that I received from Dr. Ossoff. He is an attentive listener, and performed a through exam. He was able to diagnose and help treat my problem, and provided a lot of relief. I would definitely return to Dr. Ossoff's office for any future ENT problems.

Dr. Ossoff is the best! He has consistently provided exceptional care over the past three years for myself and for my family. He seems to care about me as a patient (and about my children). He has always demonstrated good bedside manner and I recommend him to anyone needing ENT care.

Worst experience with a doctor. He was rude, terse, did not care to hear what I had to say about my condition beyond a couple of sentences. At one point he sighed in annoyance and walked out before I felt proper care was given. His diagnosis was wrong - I went to urgent care a few days later and the doctor there at the time was able to accurately diagnosis and treat my issue.
