Dr. Jack Thigpen III, DMD

Finished up my implant process today. Everything went great, from tooth extraction to completion and placement of abutment today. Pain free process and I just had local anesthesia for all stages.

I have needed to see Dr. Thigpen for four separate oral surgery issues over the past eight years. Every time, Dr. Thigpen has given me excellent care and I have experienced virtually no pain! EQUALLY as important, Dr. Thigpen’s office staff has been a pleasure to deal with! There have been no issues or errors in any of my bills and or other various aspects of doing business together. Once last year, I was referred to another oral surgeon for a different issue and, while that Oral Surgeon did a wonderful job as well, her office staff was a mess! I ended up prepaying and overpaying by more than double the bill and it took me almost six months to get my money back - requiring countless telephone calls and hours reviewing my bills. I cannot over-recommend Dr. Thigpen and heartily endorse him!

Dr. Thigpen took the time to patiently advise my elderly mother about a tooth extraction that she needs. I was very impressed and thankful that he could communicate the importance of having this surgical procedure.

Dr Thigpen was extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent guidance to me. He spent more than enough time with me, was very helpful, and answered all my questions. He was also empathetic towards my situation.

Dr Thigpen and his associates was GREAT the service they provided is immaculate. He was very considerate of my feelings and want’s. Very smooth procedure , woke up in no pain after having all 4 wisdom teeth extracted!!!

This is my 3rd wisdom tooth that Dr Thigpen has pulled. He was able to do it with local anesthesia. The whole procedure went so fast with relatively little pain. The entire office staff is very friendly and helpful.

I had a broken tooth and had to pull the root out and put an implant in. Dr. Thigpen continued to make sure that I was doing okay and it was a smooth procedure. Always making sure I had as little pain as possible. Angelina, his assistant, was on top of everything all the time. Everyone in the office was helpful, professional, and a good personality. I do recommend this business.

My wife and I have both been patients of Dr. Thigpen. This is a well run office where patient care is obviously a high priority.

On Oct 15, 2024, went back to Dr. Thigpen's office for an implant issue and once again was treated very well. I can't say enough about the quality of care provided by his office. I am treated as if I am the only patient in the office, everybody can't do enough for me while I am there. They were able to see me immediately. They made sure I was comfortable throughout my entire visit. Everyone was extremely informative, caring and just plain nice. Dr. Thigpen doesn't rush you. He takes time to talk to you and answers all of your questions. You just don't get that anymore. There is BUT one choice for an ORAL SURGEON IN TAMPA BAY, DR. THIGPEN AND HIS STAFF. Would be happy to talk to anyone about my experience. Don't hesitate, go to West Coast Center for Jaw Surgery .Nick Nazaretian He is the guy !!!!!

Dr.Thigpen and team extracted two wisdom and one broken tooth. To say I was a nervous patient is an understatement. I cannot believe how smoothly everything went. I healed up super quick without needing heavy-grade meds. A very talented team. While I do not recommend breaking your teeth - if you must, Dr.Thigpen will sort you out!

As usual, my appointment was seamless and professionally done. Staff are very responsive and appear well trained. Dr. Thigpen is personable and seems extremely skilled and on top of his specialty.

Dr Thigpen is so thoughtful and through, he is kind and caring, creating a trusting bond. Explaining every detail, answering every question in a reassuring way. My procedure was smooth and follow up excellent. I highly recommend him and his amazing team who are all wonderful too!

I have been a practicing registered dental hygienist for over 40 years and now retired. I have just had yet another procedure done by Dr. Jack Thigpen. He just surgically placed my very first implant into the bone where my second molar had been extracted. It is healing beautifully! I am here to say that Dr Jack Thigpen is an exceptional oral surgeon... Just the BEST! AND I KNOW MANY MANY DENTISTS IN THIS AREA THAT WOULD AGREE WITH ME.

Awesome staff, Gigi is caring and personal the nurses go out of their way with kindness and makes you feel like you’re more than a patient. Can’t say enough good things about Dr Thigpen so compassionate caring friendly and human all within this outstanding man who is a great surgeon and serves his profession among the best!

Dr Thigpen has done a few dental implants for me over the years. I have never had a problem with the surgeries nor have I ever had a problem contacting the office. The staff are very responsive and helpful. Dr Thigpen takes the time to answer all questions.

The entire staff were very focused and made me feel very comfortable. Everything they did was explained to me step by step. After the procedure they explained what had to be done for recovery at home and Dr. Thigpen called to make sure all was ok. Except for some bruising and swelling, which was to be expected in my case, I had absolutely no pain. I will recommend him to anyone who asks. As someone who has been afraid of dental procedures all of my life, I can't thank the whole office enough for changing my mind.

Dr Thigpen lll is the best!! I went to him last year for a consultation and he was so caring & compassionate !! He took his time explaining everything. It showed how much he cares about his patients he has so much knowledge and knows what he's doing. I called last month to get 3 teeth pulled but my insurance changed & they don't accept it. However he was so amazing during my consultation last year and everyone in the office was so nice and helpful. I went to him and paid out of pocket they even gave me a discount because I had insurance. When he was done pulling my three teeth I was shocked I asked him are you done and he said yes I was so shocked I felt no pain literally just pressure. It's been 7 hours and I haven't even taken any pain medication this doctor is amazing! I recommend him 100%.
