Dr. Jack Stephenson IV, MD

I told his nurse I didn’t need yet another x-ray as I’ve had several done already not to mention I have a large plate in my arm that greatly inhibits x-rays. He wouldn’t see me without one.. This says he only wants to bill me for unnecessary medical exams and doesn’t care about me as a patient. Had he taken the time to even see me, he would’ve understood my concerns for not wanting another x-ray. If this is how he listens to patients, I’m glad he will never touch my arm.

Referred to Dr. Stephenson by my primary hand doctor. He confirmed that I had advanced arthritis of the thumb CMC joint, with cyst formation and sclerosis. He performed a trapeziectomy with tendon suspension arthroplasty surgery and was very successful at relieving my pain completely. He is very personable, which many doctors tend to lose after years of practice. His compassion and expertise in what he does is clear in his through explanations and complete answers to all your questions. Definitely recommend him as a doctor to see for a consult and you can for yourself if he is the right doctor for you.

Dr. Stephenson did my carpal tunnel surgery with only a local anesthetic, and it went exceedingly well and without discomfort. The surgery was without complications and his entire staff was very professional. The follow-up appointments were courteous and on-time. Very easy to converse with because of great "bed-side" manner. I would very highly recommend Dr. Stephenson for carpel tunnel surgery.

treated for trigger fingers both hands and hands aching & falling asleep. I have had cortisone shots in my hands before and Dr Stephenson is by far the most skilled at injections and I experienced very little discomfort during 2 visits with total of 8 shots given. He also has great personality, shoots straight with you, and has my complete confidence.
