Knowledgeable, Honest, Compassionate
I first saw Dr McKay a year ago. He spent an inordinately amount of time with my husband and myself. He explained all of my options, answered questions, called my family (medical persons) and was very honest with recommendations. What I like most, he listens, is concerned about what ‘life happening’ is concerning you, but mostly he is direct about your options. I appreciate his direct approach. If he disagrees with your personal opinion he will be honest and tell you, but you have to respect his years of education and experience. He has always let me voice what I would like to see as my plan of care and honestly expressed his. To my benefit we have been on the same page. I believe a patient must be informed, have pertinent questions, but be willing to listen. Thank you Dr. McKay for your directness. Also, you give great injections! I highly recommend this physician. Tyra, his nurse, is great!
