I saw Dr. Watt twice. In the first visit he diagnosed my condition as frozen shoulder, but wasn't able to offer me any ideas for how to treat it, short of painful surgery, which he did not recommend. I returned a month later for a follow-up. I left both appointments feeling as if he had lectured me during the course of the visit rather than asking thoughtful questions and listening carefully. The second visit he lambasted me for complaining about the pain. I did not find him sympathetic at all.

Dr. Watt diagnosed and performed my ACL reconstruction surgery. It is a good indication that he performs so many knee surgeries, and mine has healed very well with no noticeable complications after many months. He was very upfront and realistic about the expectations he has for the patient to put in the work to get better. He does talk fast, but always gets across the important information. Think of questions in advance before appointments so that you don't freeze up in the meeting.
