Dr poceta is possibly the rudest and most egotistical doctor I’ve ever encountered. He barks at his own staff, he refuses to acknowledge his colleagues or your own input, he also wont explain the reason why certain tests are being recommended. If you ask why a certain action is being recommended he becomes rude and unprofessional. He had a intern present during my appointment who he was clearly trying to impress by belittling my questions. Overall I had a terrible experience with Dr.Pocetta and he unfortunately proves the trope of a egomaniac doctor.

Dr Poceta has changed my life. I have non-24 and sleep apnea. I've been sick for years. Dr poceta took me seriously, ran the appropriate tests, and prescribed a life changing medication. I'll be forever grateful. If you see this doc thanks so much.

One of the best doctors I have ever seen. I have been going to Dr. Poceta for 6 years. I have multiple sclerosis and Idiopathic hypersomnia with excessive daytime sleepiness and have seen a substantial amount of neurologists and without doubt the most knowledgeable and caring doctor I have seen.

I don't like use harsh words on other people. But I have to say this doctor is bad. First of all, it is difficult to schedule appointment. If you do schedule, it is far out. When you are near, they will call to cancel. This doctor's staff never return calls. This doctor never respond to messages via the Scripps Clinic online patient portal.

During the 17 years Dr. Poceta has treated me for PD, headaches, and sleep problems. he has always been attentive, flexible, and knowledgable. He keeps up with the latest medications and procedures and finds some way to help me, even when there is little that can be done (such as dealing with the symptoms of late stage PD). This dedication to helping his patients, his cheerful affect, and his natural interest in people have made my long, dark, journey through the challenges of PD more bearable.

Extremely unlikely!! Dr. Poceta is out of date, arrogant, and an extremely poor listener with little to no personal insight. His office staff displays similar characteristics.

Not recommended. "Knows" the diagnosis, tends to prejudges the case before the patient presents the history.

I have suffered from severe Restless Legs Syndrome for a long time and I have seen many doctors. I read about Dr. Poceta after an online search revealed a professional article identifying him as one of two experts on RLS on the West Coast. I've been seeing him and my legs have never felt better. His treatment has changed my life. Actually, I feel like have a life now. Even before he found a treatment that works for me, I had confidence in him.
