Dr. Izabela Shaw, MD

The majority of the doctors practicing these days are incompetent and could not care less about the patient health. It is not to cure it is only to profit.You don't make money from well people. You only profit from sick people. The sicker you are the more money the doctors earn, competent or not.Such a sad society of health care.

Love her as a person, but after years as a patient I'm giving up. When I'm acutely ill & need treatment as soon as possible, I'm always told to go to a walk in clinic. What's worse is having to keep calling multiple times for 2 days, to be told by staff they'll talk to Dr. Shaw & call back. Then they don't so I call every 3 hours. All the while I continued to get more ill with a 103° fever. After 24 hours of this, I'm dismissed & told to go to a walk in clinic. Due to years of the same mistreatment I've come to expect that to be the final answer, but why couldn't they tell me that up front rather than let me believe Dr. Shaw might provide treatment? So it was an additional 24 hours without treatment. Now, after reporting new, more chronic symptoms, potentially indicative of a serious illness, I've been relegated to the same dismissive mistreatment & told to use a walk in clinic as my primary care. This isn't standard of care & I feel it's inappropriate for a medical provider.

She is very caring and listens well. Highly capable.

Dr. Shaw is an amazing doctor!

I would never recommend Dr. Shaw to family and friends. She diagnosed me with rheumatoid arthritis based on a blood work , that show the rheumatoid factor slightly higher that normal. I decided to see a rheumatologist who run a special test to check for RA, and thanks to God I am fine . Some people can have the RA factor number higher and not suffer the illness.This is one of the reasons why I will never refer anybody to Dr. Shaw.

Lorna the worse person I have ever encountered in a doctor's office. Lorna is incompetent in every way imaginable. Staff is not professional nor courteous. Shaw, not a knowledgeable doctor as far as I am concerned. She displays an arrogant attitude and self-importance. No bedside manners. Her office should be shut down.

I live Dr Shaw she is great she listens to you makes you comfortable he's very concerned with your medical problems I would not change doctors for anything I think she's very awesome

The staff is horrible and unhelpful!

Dr. Shaw does have some long wait times but when you see her, you get the time you need and are never rushed so I don't mind the waits. The office is clean, the staff is friendly and I really like Dr. Shaw. She is compassionate but also no nonsense if you try to make excuses for some things. She is an old fashioned doctor in this busy world. I understand a new office is in the works and that should help the parking and waiting room problems.

My son has Cerebral Palsy and he likes Dr. Shaw because she takes time asking and answering his questions.Dr. Shaw pays close attention when he is talking to her. The only thing; the waiting area is to small, it's hard to move when there's a wheelchair in the room and patients coming in or going out. I' m disappointed that there is no wheelchair scale for people who can't leave the w/c, like my son.It's been about 3 years that he was weighted

Dr Shaw is very knowledgeable & friendly. When I initially started seeing her, her appointment times were right on schedule. But over time, the waits became increasingly longer & it was difficult to judge how long the wait would be.
