Dr Casino is very thorough and well versed to answer my questions. She also shows she has my best interests in mind.

I saw paz for years while I was under medicare. I never had to check my bill, but I finally got a good job with good insurance and used that for the first time. I went in for a physical a few months ago and she asked me about a few things from my last appointment. It was like 5 minuets worth of stuff outside the physical that we already went over. I got a bill toward the end of the year that was close to 1k. She billed me for the physical which my insurance was suppose to fully cover and for the 3 small things we went over. Those 3 things added 400 dollars to my bill. I can understand if we went over new labs or she had to do a totally new diagnosis, but she thought it was justifiable to charge me an extra appointment for things you wouldnt expect to be charged for during a physical. The whole appointment was like 10 to 20 minuets and the hospital thought it was okay to bill me close to 1k. She might of been padding my bill for years and cant trust her or the hospital anymore.

I established care with Dr. Corro-Casiño, who never put in refills for the medications we went over in my first appointment, that I'd been prescribed from my previous Dr. in Colorado. Their clinic even acknowledged that this was their mistake, though they still didn't correct it. I had to call them repeated for refills for basic medications like statins and birth control. Medication that should not be skipped. This should have been the first flag for me. Down the line, I developed a health issue for which I urgently (within a week) needed to see a physician. She wasn't available, so I went to another CHI Dr., who told me that my health issue was one for which I absolutely needed to follow up with my PCP on within a week. The new doctor made it clear that my PCP making accomodations to see me would be standard of care, and that the issue should be treated by my PCP specifically. Despite the second Dr's insistance that this be treated by my PCP, Dr. Corro-Casiño absolutely refused to s

This was my first visit to Dr. Corro. She was kind, thoughtful, professional, and very thorough. I plan on making her my primary-care physician, and am grateful she is taking new patients. I would not hesitate to recommend her to my family and friends. Glad to be in her care. Kudos Franciscan! Will end up giving her and the staff all 5 star ratings, because I can't think of a single negative in my visit!
