Dr. Ivan Rivera, MD

I have been going to Doctor Rivera at least 10 years. I do have a lot of serious health issues and Doctor Rivera always steers me in the right direction if he deems necessary. He is always upfront and as thorough as it gets. Doctor Rivera has helped keeping me going and I would highly recommend him with no hesitation .

I have had Dr. Rivera as my primary care physician for several years now. I have never been disappointed leaving his office. His staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They seem to genuinely care about you. Dr. Rivera really takes the time to listen and understand what the problem is. He never talks down or makes me feel uncomfortable. And always makes sure I happy and comfortable with the treatment plan. I have recommended Dr. Rivera to anyone who asks for a PCP suggestion.

Dr Rivera is very attentive and actually listens to concerns. The care team is awesome as well! By far the best MD I’ve had.

Dr. Ivan Rivera has been mine and my husbands Dr. for about 4 years now and there just aren’t enough words to describe how much we love and appreciate him! He is super friendly, treats us as if we were his family, he listens to all our concerns, doesn’t make us feel rushed, etc. He WANTS to find out what our needs are, order necessary tests, and follows through until the problem is resolved. I’ve never been so impressed by a physician! He cares and it shows. We are more than 100% satisfied with him as our Dr.!! And one more thing, Dr. Rivera, you can never retire, because we’d be lost without you!

When you enter A Watson CLinic and see everything organized clean and with the Protocol and the staff of the Office to register so kind, helpful, attentive and professional, you feel very good. Seeing the doctor who receives you with empathy, kindness and a lot of attention responding to all your concerns by responding with that Professionalism and humanity, you have come to the right place where for him OUR HEALTH comes first. Dr Rivera Many doctors may be good, I don’t know them, but I know one that is my primary doctor. After going through several doctors and finding apathy towards my several issues, I found DR. IVAN RIVERA at Watson Clinic Main. He is very thorough , takes care of all referrals and follow through with tests and procedures. He is very friendly, listens carefully, and give the appearance that I am his only patient. No rushing or finishing the visit until both of us are satisfied . If it weren’t because of medical issues one could say that it is a pleasure visiting him.. I’m a senior who has move many times due to being a teacher, so I had many doctors but none like Dr. Rivera. I recommend him without any reservation.

The receptionists were always rude, conversing amongst themselves, very uncaring, and unprofessional. At my last visit they all accused me of committing insurance fraud when I was paying cash for my visit, in the waiting room. Dr Rivera refused to see or even speak to me when I arrived for a second follow up appointment in a week after two ER visits for stroke level BP. The medication he switched me to made me worse but he wouldn’t see me. No explanation as to why. What happened to “do no harm”? I’ll be telling everyone about my experience once I’m under the care of a good group and I can focus on living again. No one should ever be treated like that.

I have been a patient of Dr Rivera since his first days at Watson Clinic. He is bright, personable and never ever rushes through an appointment.

Doctor Ivan Rivera has absolutely been the best primary I have ever had. I have had multiple health problems sinc stage 4 NHL. Also severe clotting disorder . Doctor Rivera has treated me and always made the referrals to the right specialist if need be. Thank you for everything Doctor Rivera.

Dr Rivera is excellent ..follows thru with my care. Explains lab and diagnostic result ..has the patience of A lamb ..calm demeanor and shows concern when I vent my concerns ...even when at times I talk too much .. As an rn I have worked with many Dr's. ...DR rivera is one of the best . TX u. .. dr rivera and ur great staff !

Had the privelege of meeting Dr. Rivera on my first official appointment at Watson Clinic. Truly shows strong interest and concern in his patients area of need. Very understanding. I feel a comfort in knowing I am in his care. Plus he and his family love Disney World as do my wife and I! I highly recommend him!

Excellent doctor, always listen and answer all your questions. He really cares about his patients. I have heart and thyroid conditions and everything is under control thanks to him.

Great physician , very personable , and caring. We have referred several family members to Dr Rivera as well .

Almost poisoned me with a medication.His attitude is his way or find another primary.Bad bedside manners.He isn't up to general knowledge of all medications.If it was not for the pharmacy warning that the medications he prescribed me could kill me.I could be dead.He texts during visits.Very rude little man.He threatened to try and cancel my surgery.Avoid this Dr.He does not understand medicines.Tried to get me on statins because of my good cholesterol
