Horrendous experience for my 11y/o daughter who saw him at the Tarrytown office. When I explained what was happening he said she would need surgery before even looking at the cyst. I don’t disagree with the surgery piece but as a physician it should have been looked at prior to saying and he should not have said it in that manner right in front of her. Do not recommend him AT ALL. Would NEVER go back.

Another visit to Dr. Rappaport Dermatology and another successful removal of a cancerous growth. Have been with Dr. Rapport for approximately 28 years. He has treated many other of my skin issues over the years with excellent results. He has always treated my concerns with patience and respect. He is one of the most knowledgeable dermatologist in the area and I trust him completely with diagnosis and treatment of my skin problems. I have seen reviews in the past that say he is in different, uncaring and rushed, which couldn't be further from the truth. You would be doing yourself or your family a disservice by not giving Dr. Rapport a chance to treat your skin problems you will not be disappointed. Thank you again Dr. Rappaport and your staff for your wonderful service, treatment, care and respect.

First Rate Dermatologist
Rappaport Dermatology is a first rate medical facility. From the front desk, to the medical assistants, to Dr. Rappaport himself, it is clear that this is a top notch Dermatology office. I have been to several practices for various ailments and I can attest that this office is professional, efficient, and more caring than other medical practices. What I appreciated greatly is that securing an appointment, was seamless. The front desk associates were patient and courteous as I searched my own schedule to get an appointment that matched my availability. Being a full time mom and teacher, with little time to plan, this relieved anxiety for me as I know you often have to wait many months to get in to see a competent dermatologist. Dr. Rappaport was incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, exuded professionalism, and had superb bedside manner. I felt confident in his evaluation and treatment. I left very happy with my result and felt my time was valued. I will be back.

Dr. Rappaport was able to diagnose my condition promptly and accurately via a telemedicine call and a low quality picture from my phone. Very impressed with results of my treatment.

Im not exactly sure how I feel about my visit. I saw Dr.Rappaport last week just for a yearly check, he came into the room glanced over my body and in 2 minutes he was out of the room. Is this normal for a body check, isnt he supposed to look at every inch of your body? I thought when you go for a body check they are supposed to look under your arms, in between your toes etc. I had to ask him to look at my hair line because I am very light skinned and both my sisters had to get cancer spots removed from hair line. Is it my job to ask him that? I dont care if a Dr is not the friendliest as long as I feel the Dr. is good but I just felt he didnt really look me over properly and I am not a "nit picker". I dont think I will be going back I think more then 2 minutes in the room is not right and I left feeling a bit confused over this . After 2 minutes in the room with me he said "Oh if you want skin care products we sell them".

Nice guy, but my experience was awful. My appointment was at 2:00pm, so I arrived at 1:55 and checked in. I was called back at 2:50 and was done by 2:53. I waited an hour for 3 minutes. Several people who checked in after me got seen while I was still waiting.

Dr. Rappaport discover my non-Hotchkins lymphoma for which I am grateful. I have many doctors, but he was the one that first diagnosed my disease. As with most physicians, his personality will be attractive to some and not to others. I find him very personable, and never feel rushed when I see him. His staff is efficient and friendly. I would recommend him.

Doctor Rappaport wasn't the friendliest with my daughter. He brushed her concerns over these hives off, barely spent five minutes with her, and then snapped at her and told her she was fine. My daughter was having allergic reactions that he failed to pick up upon, even when we showed him photo evidence. Not to mention he was an hour late! Kim Mills, on the other hand, is an amazing woman. She is informative, and she knows what she's doing. Her compassion is absolutely refreshing.

I've had psoriasis since I was a kid and I was lucky enough to find Dr. Rappaport after trying doctors all over the NYC/CT area. It was my lucky day to find that he had a practice in upstate NY when I moved there. He listens to my complaints, shares current and timely treatment options, and allows me to be in the driver's seat in making decisions about what treatment plan best suits my lifestyle and needs. Now I also see him and his staff for cosmetic treatments. I'll be a patient for life!
