I am a two time cancer survivor with many lingering health issues from treatment. I also am terrified of doctors and medical tests because of my history. Dr. Penate immediately puts me at ease and makes me laugh, along with being a wonderful knowledgable doctor, he is a caring person too. I am so lucky to have found him.

I have complaining about the difficulty in getting a referral/prescription from the office -- having to call back MANY times, and still not getting one. The referral recording is blatantly false! It says that 'someone will get back to me within 24 hours.' Has basically never happened. In my last message, I specifically stated that if I did not get the Rx within 2 days, I would find another doctor. I AM! I can only imagine how poorly other people are treated who are not vocal. Disgraceful.

This is a very caring doctor, he is excellent, unfortunately the staff is very RUDE. The doctor and his staff are complete opposites. The first one that should be fired is Alina the office manager. She is extremely rude, does not care about the patient, and only recruits personnel with similar traits as herself. They do not communicate messages to the doctor. This has happened to me several times. Forget about the phone calls...they will let you wait hours before they finally pick up again..

We love Dr. Penate for his caring and knowledge; also we are completely happy and satisfied with Dr. Beddard and Dr. Gomez's care. All Staff are great - They work hard and are very busy. Only complaints but with the best intentions: - when calling the office, we are kept in line too long; - Referrals are not prompt to obtain - follow up is a must to get them. - Bathrooms need to be checked more often - Toilet seat to be repaired
