Incredibly kind and patient
I was with my dad at the ER and we were seen by Dr Avery. He was friendly, calm, and took all the time we wanted to answer questions, repeat himself or explain things if needed, and make sure we were comfortable and understood things. A+ bedside manner. He even said he didn’t want us to go home confused or stressed because he knew that would raise cortisol levels which would be counterproductive to healing. Fantastic experience. I hope he is training other doctors.

Dr. Avery took fantastic care of my mother during her visit to the ED after a fall at the house. He took time to explain every test that was run and even walked her personally around the department to make sure she was steady on her feet before being discharged. Great bedside manners.
