Dr. Isha Woofter, MD

My daughter saw her today and she left crying and continued to cry the rest of the evening. I have never in my life would imagine a dr to degrade and accuse a young lady so much in my life to the point of making her cry and have a traumatizing experience. Thank God i cancelled my appointment and didn’t go.

She is quick to interrupt you when asking you questions. She doesn’t allow you to finish speaking before she barks the next question at you. From my experience she is more interested in what medication she can prescribe you and what tests she can order then actually listening to your needs symptoms and concerns. I heard more about how she donates a lot of money to animal charities than about my own medical problems and conditions. Not sure what bragging about your philanthropy has to do with my care as a patient. The front desk staff has the worst phone manners of anyone I have ever met. When they call you with results the moment you answer the phone they rattle off a script at the speed of lightning and then abruptly end the call as soon as you make any sound of affirmation or understanding. Sometimes they do this so quickly that they end up calling you and being rude multiple times with in minutes of eachother. Speed is not the same thing as quality care.

Too many grievances to go into great detail here, but just know that when you see the consistent use of the word "condescending" in the not so great reviews here, that's because it captures the essence of this practice... a supercilious staff with a supercilious boss.

This location appears to specialize in the speculative diagnosis and hasty prescription practices. Overheard discussions of other patients with the practitioner through the walls that often consisted of inquiries about refill needs. The staff can be impolite and occasionally ineffective. Isha tends to prioritize her vocalizations over those of her patients.

Dr Isha has a brilliant mind but is able to transfer her medical knowledge in a way that I can understand. Perhaps some of her reviewers expected to be coddled and told their unhealthy habits are fine with her. Nope. She will explain the consequences of poor choices. That’s not condescension. That’s telling the truth. And as we know, some people can’t handle the truth.

Rude, condescending, and unwilling to hear patient personal needs. Would not recommend her to anyone.

Dr is self absorbed and isn’t invested in patient relations. She doesn’t care what you have to say, comes across as judge-mental and bothered. Simply put, you are nothing more than a number to her. Look elsewhere for quality care.

If you want to be babied, go to a pediatrician. If you want a great doctor that will tell you the facts and do everything in her power to make you better, go to doctor Isha !

I have seen Dr. Isha Woofter for many years. She has always taken the time to listen to any issues I might have. She is very thorough in her exams and recommendations for preventive care. I have recently moved to a new area and hope to find a Doctor like her. I see that some reviews mention that they think she is rude. I think they may be taking her the wrong way. I have a bit of a snarky or sarcastic wit and she always made me laugh. Perhaps her humor is doesn't set well with some.

Very rude and judgmental.

I wish there was a zero star option. Dr. Woofter is knowledgeable, but that's about it. She is not personable and her staff is down right degrading. There is a major lack of communication in her office. She does not think of the patients first and many of her comments are out of line. At first, she seems okay but by the third and fourth appointment, you see her true personality and it's not pretty. If you're looking for a doctor, look anywhere else but here. It'll save you a lot of stress.

Dr Woofter has been a life saver to me. She has been able to solve two medical issues that were making me miserable. She is brilliant! I love her!

A wonderful thorough and caring Doctor. I would recommend her to anyone and I have. I hope my new Doctor, in my new location, meets Dr Woofter's standards.

Condescending and rude. She talked down to me the entire time and it seemed to be more about her showing off than actually helping.
