Dr. Isabelle Amigues, MD

Dr. Amigues is genuinely a brilliant, kind, and rare ray of sunshine! Her optimism inspired hope for me at a time when I had none, which helped more than I can explain in words. Her efficient and effective medical plan and team made things easeful for me, and finally I feel better than I have in at least a decade. Truly, she has helped save my quality of life, which is priceless!!

Dr Amigues is the best. She is in full command of he field. Rheumatology. She is thoughtful, patient, kind and enjoyable to be around. She always has a smile for me and likes to hear about my life while managing all aspects of care for my condition. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

While I never written nor posted a review for any services, I want to take a moment to say thank you to Dr. Isabelle Amigues and her staff for the most positive experience during my recent office visit with her. I am a post-polio survivor with chronic muscle and nerve pain and issues. Additionally, I have other complications from the post-polio, including but not limited to diaphragm and breathing issues, swallowing difficulties, and fatigue. Dr. Amigues has been able to address the complications associated with my various physical problems and has given me relief from most of the issues that have been a part of my life for almost 70 years. With her guidance, I am feeling better in every way than I have in the past 35 years. I suppose that if I could offer any words of encouragement, it would be these, never give up. There is hope. I am amazed with the care and accessibility I have gotten with Dr. Amigues. She listens to your concerns, symptoms and truly wants to help. She is the 1st doctor I have seen that spends more then 15-20 mins with you. She answers questions and devotes her time to you. She is an expert in Rheumatology and it shows. You should count yourself lucky to have a doctor like her on your side. I have hope in my health future because of her!

Dr. Amigues and her staff are the best. I was in sever pain. Nearly every joint in may body ached. Some mornings I could barely get out of bed. For years I bounced between doctors. All of whom misdiagnosed my condition as gout. Within three months of seeing Dr Amigues, I was diagnosed correctly and prescribed the correct drugs. Now at five months I am virtually pain free. Also, both her and her staff are super responsive to all communications. It's amazing.

Dr. Amigues was very reassuring and knowledgeable in our visits. I felt she took in all the medical history and information I gave her and not only ordered comprehensive testing but explained why those tests were needed and what the possible outcomes would be. I felt I understood each of the steps she was taking, and that gave me confidence that we would get to an answer. I have had chronic health issues for many years and traditional heath care providers have not been able to help me much or get close to a diagnosis. I turned to functional medicine where I had bloodwork done that led me to a rheumatology referral—to Dr. Amigues. The cost for this kind of health care can be high but if you are able to invest I think it’s worth it. It was great to finally have answers after so many years of guessing and so many health care providers not ordering the tests that would get me moving in a productive direction.

I highly recommend Dr Isabelle Amigues, her relaxed demeanor, welcoming and knowledgeable expertise immediately put me at ease. She listens attentively while exploring all options to give an accurate diagnosis. I trusted her care completely and would highly recommend her if you’re seeking a rheumatologist that will guide you through diagnosis and future treatment plan.

Moved to WI so needed to establish with Rheumatologist.Very knowledgeable with my medication and did a through exam.She was very willing to listen to me and come up with a plan for future care.Very pleased!!!

I was a new patient for Dr. Amigues and met with her several times over 6 months. I found her to be very personable and easy to talk with. I felt she reviewed my health history thoroughly and was able to make significant changes in my treatment plan. She was my advocate with the insurance company when I needed to change medications. Because of the changes Dr. Amigues has made, my RA is under control for the first time in several years.

Dr Amigues is a beautiful person. She seen the pain I was in and helped me. She explained the medication that she recommended very well and when I was a tad nervous, she explained it again! I am very sad that she has left the area.

Dr. Amigues is an amazing Rheumatologist. She is very thorough, asks a lot of questions and found the best path of treatment for me. I would definitely recommend her without any hesitation!

Dr. Amigues was exceptional to work with! I came to her with just some abnormal lab results not even realizing I had an autoimmune deficiency. She did a thorough review of symptoms, history, and ordered some additional labs. In no time, she had a diagnosis and started medication. The medication has been effective, and my quality of life has improved thanks to her! Thank you so much!

The first time I met her, she sat and talk to me and asked me questions and was one on one with me for over 35 minutes. We tried some new things and would recommend her if you want your Dr. to really listen to you and make a plan just for you.

Dr. Amigues takes her time and listens to what you’re going through. She explains everything so you can understand your condition and the treatment options. Her up beat personality and compassion makes her the ideal Dr to go to.

After seeing another Rheumatologist and being given up on, Dr Amigues gave me hope. She is a true teammate in your healthcare. She listens to your concerns and cares about making you feel better. If one option doesn't work, she will find another. It was such a blessing to not feel like I was being brushed off and to have someone take my pain seriously instead of making me feel crazy, and work with me to make me feel better and able to do things again. I really appreciated every visit because I knew she was there for me. Trying to find a new dr that makes me feel heard and fill her place is going to be very difficult.

I trust Dr. Amigues 100%. She genuinely cares about me & my health. Her positive attitude & tenacity for solutions is unparalleled. Very grateful to have her as my physician!

Dr Amigues is a great RA doctor and well worth a conversation to help you with your needs. Isabelle is very personable and takes the time to not only help with your issue, but will spend the time to answer questions, explain the treatment/medication, and share alternatives as well. She is very pro-naturopathic process to help the body heal itself. I was seriously struggling with an effective treatment for my RA and I switched to Dr Amigues a couple years ago and our work together has virtually eliminated my symptoms and put me on a healthier path.

Very caring, her follow up is outstanding! One of the best Doctor I've seen.
