After waiting 6 months to get an appointment with Dr Goldfaden, my visit was hastily given. I wanted to establish myself with a dermatologist after going through a bad experience last year with undiagnosed rash and hives, etc. Dr Goldfaden overtalks your conversation while you are trying to explain your main reason for making an appointment and not just for a skin check. I was disappointed and sorry I waited so long to see her for such a rushed and unsatisfied visit. I will not see her again and would not recommend her.

I am very disappointed in my patient experience. I scheduled an appointment for a rash on my elbows that kept re-appearing. Dr. Goldfaden was convinced that this rash was related to celiac disease (despite me having no symptoms of celiac and my blood work showing I was negative for celiac). Dr. Goldfaden insisted I have a biopsy of the rash to confirm it was related to celiac and I felt pressured and bullied into agreeing. The biopsy came back as negative (not surprising). I was 10 minutes late to my appointment to get the biopsy stitches removed. I called in advance to tell them I was late (I have a 1 year old and you know things happen) and I was told Dr. Goldfaden would still see me. After removing my stitches, Dr. Goldfaden started to leave the room. I had to stop her and ask to discuss my biopsy results. She told me that because I was late there was no time and left. My condition remains untreated and I feel kind of abandoned as a patient.

I searched to find Dr. Goldfaden when she left Affiliated Dermatologists in Morristown/Somerville. I live in NYC and have been to 3 dermatologists there--all excellent--but nonetheless travel to NJ to see Dr. Goldfaden because I have confidence in her judgment. What some patients may mistake as rushing them out the door is actually an extremely professional and efficient dermatologist whose trained and experienced eye is worth far more than hand-holding. She discovered an early melanoma in me.

I felt like she was only willing to address 1-2 issues. Until I was wil get to pay out of pocket for a few skin tags to be removed. I'm pretty sure the removal of a skin tag shouldn't scar 3 times the size of the actual skin tag . I now have to huge blemish two shades darker than my skin tone. I've had pea size flat moles removed with with different doctors and Had zero scarring.

I used to go to Dr. Goldfaden for years until she left her Somerville, N.J., office. When I called that office they wouldn't tell me where she went so I went to my Primary Care Physician and then to a local dermatologist and the rash on my face kept getting worse and no one could tell me why. Finally contacted Dr.Goldfaden and she immediately knew it was cortisone withdrawal. Not only did she prescribe a healing medicine but CALLED ME PERSONALLY 4 TIMES on the telephone to tweet the medicines

As a new patient, I was able to get an appointment with the doctor on the day I called to schedule it (nice). Barely a wait time to get into the exam room. Receptionist very professional and pleasant. Dr Goldfaden was very professional and very thorough - explaining everything she was doing. This was my initial visit with her and I'm more than satisfied with ht experience. Highly recommended.
