He has zero knowledge about my pain. He is a spine Dr and I have pain from radiation burns. He is very anti opiate. I was on hospice in April 2024. I went to the hospital for an infection and he came into my room and cut me off of .y very effective opiate pain meds. He thinks my pain should be treated with scented candles accupuncture and massage therapy. I told hi. I had tried all that holistic garbage and it wasn't effective. But he knew my pain better than I. He is the epitome arrogance and I truly wish him ilk will

Worst Dr. that I've ever seen.
He came to see me while I was in the hospital. I did not seek him out. He determined that I no longer needed opiates to control my pain. He took over my pain control and since then I had to quit working out or riding my bike. My pain level was a 5 when he took over. Now 3 months later it is a 9. I've lost 40 lbs. In the last 3 month because I have severe esophageal constriction now and can only consume liquids. He is arrogant, just read other reviews. Stay away from this Dr. He has no compassion for your suffering.

Inject nerve to relieve severe sciatic pain
I asked that Dr. Marsolek do the injection himself instead of letting a student that was learning do the injection. Instead, he allowed the student to do the injection and I had the most SEVERE PAIN I ever had in my life. I believe the student did not get the Novacaine injection in the proper place before giving the injection into the nerve. After the injection the Dr. did not even ask how I was, he and the student left the room immediately after the injection and I did not see them at all afterward. The x-ray technician took care of me and helped me get into a wheel chair and waited to see that I was able to leave. Total unprofessional care for Dr. Marsolek and I would never see this physician again! As all visits to physicians are posted, this visit was also to be posted on my Health Partners account, however it was never posted.

He doesn’t listen and has a pre judgement on his patients and only will offer what he thinks work even if you’ve tried it and know it doesn’t work.

Dr. Marsolek was a specialist for my back, and was very sensitive to my needs, both physically (with having two protruding discs) and emotionally (from dealing with years of chronic pain). I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a specialist in this area.
