Dr. Irfan Tahir, MD

Appointment was extremely rushed and this Dr simply does not listen to what his patients are saying.

I need to make an appointment for myself as I was recently discharged from the hospital. It has also been about 6 months since my husband's last appointment. We would like to be given an appointment at the same time. We probably both will need bloodwork so an early appointment would be perfect. Please call us.

My family's experience with this Doctor has been exceptional and I truly appreciate this. He knows my rheumatologist and has been on top of every health issue that I've had. He offers video appointments whenever I need them too. I would definitely recommend his office. Thank you Care Team!

Dr. Tahir takes the time to make sure your health and well-being is in the right path. He is kind and knowledgeable and the staff is courteous, too. I am glad my husband and I found him.

His staff never answers phones they don't seem to want "business" they rush you through appts. Which is unfortunate since when I saw him in 2021 at the Smoke Ranch Office for the first time he was compassionate, understanding & concerned, the second time he was dismissive & said my pain in my belly was my ovaries & I must be getting close to my period. Um I've had my period for 30 years & know 100% where that pain is located this was WAY above the ovaries. He refused to see on labs that I had done that I apparently had an early stage UTI so when it got bad I had to TeleDoc another MD and showed him my labs from 2 weeks earlier shocked it was not addressed & 5 min later he was calling in a prescription for that. His website is terrible, no patient portal the web shows their hours are 9-5 yet they don't answer the phones & you think it is bus hours. Apparently the 2nd PA-C left the practice so not sure who is there helping pay rent & keep the place floating. Expect it to close ASAP!

Absolutely terrible!!!! I was told at the hospital that I had cirrhosis; I was scheduled to see Tahir one month after release. The very first thing he said was, "I smell liquor on you, you are still drinking". I had not had a drink since being released from hospital a month previously. He said I needed to be placed on the transplant list or would not live for 2 more years. Well, NEVER went to him again, and that was 7 years ago. No transplant was necessary. He has absolutely no "bed-side" manner and I DO NOT suggest anyone see him!! My rating--less than 1 star.

My first an only visit with Dr. Tahir was a telemed call to review lab work. It lasted 5 minutes. In those 5 minutes he insulted my integrity and my profession/employeer, and he complained about his increased workload because his PA recently left. (The PA was awesome and the provider I previously saw.)

Would like to see doctor Tahir again he was my doctor from 1999 up to about 2014 great guy used to listen to me take care of me I've had kind of a rough experience over the last few years with the other providers

Great Doctor!!!! Been looking for him for the last 2 years, I don't know where he move. I've been seeing him for more than 10 years back when he is at Fremont Medical Center and move to Healthcare Partners and now just couldn't find him.

Dr. Tahir is an outstanding person who I trust with my health completely. He listens and is attentive to your needs. Great Doctor.

I can't begin to explain how amazing Dr. Tahir is. I started seeing him last year and he listens to everything you have to say and will not rush you. He explains everything to you and tells you in terms where you can understand them. He even gave me a hug when I lost the weight I needed. he cares about his patients and asks how your family is and how work is going. I always recommend Dr. Tahir to everyone asking if I know a dr. Would never think about leaving.
