Dr. Irene Chen, MD

Dr. Chen has been our Pediatrician for the last 12 years. One child since 1 year old, and my other since birth. Both of my kids enjoy coming to her office and visiting with her and her staff. She is very caring, and remembers so many details about their health, and personal lives. I love that she engages and speaks directly with my kids and includes them in their check-ups. Dr. Chen has be extremely professional and respectful of our feelings when it comes to treatments. I send her messages via the health portal and always get a response, from her or staff, whether email or phone call. When we moved about one hour away, we still chose to stay with Dr. Chen, as we value and respect her expertise. We have now moved out of the state and will miss her and her staff immensely.

Dr. Chen has been seeing my boys for 14 years. She is sweet, compassionate and has been very helpful with any issues we have had over the years. My boys leave feeling uplifted and like they are doing a great job with their health. Thank you Dr. Chen!

Dr. Chen is amazing!! She has been our daughter’s pediatrician for her whole life and we couldn’t have found a better doctor. Dr. Chen really cares for her patients and always greets us with enthusiasm and a genuine happiness to see us. My daughter absolutely loves coming to the office because she knows that Dr. Chen will always take care of her and help her feel better. The staff in Dr. Chen’s office is also outstanding!! We adore Nurse Ashley and always have wonderful chats with her!! My daughter looks forward to seeing Dr. Chen every time we come to her office. Thank you Dr. Chen for taking such wonderful care of our daughter!!

Dr. Chen has been an excellent Pediatrition to my two children for nearly 14 years and I highly recommend her. She’s very friendly, personable, thorough and gives you ample time to ask questions.

Dr. Chen is our hero! I have 3 boys. 15 yrs, 6 yrs, 3 yrs. My 3 yr old was born with a spinal defect and has had to have multiple surgeries and can't walk. Dr. Chen has made sure to pay extra care to our little guy since before he was born. She is his biggest advocate. When we struggled with insurance trying to get him a wheelchair, she did some research on her own and found a program that gives out free wheelchairs to children and signed us up. She herself, fought to help get us set up with Alta Regional & SCOE. She personally calls to check up on him after a surgery, or after a sick visit, just to make sure he is ok. She truly cares about her patients and treats them like they are her own children. I pay $80 more a month for medical insurance just so that my children can keep Dr. Chen as their doctor. She is amazing and I am eternally grateful for her. Her staff is amazing as well. They always follow up with all my boys via email or phone. Love them all!

We’ve had Dr Chen for both of our boys (3,7yrs old) since their birth. She is great with our sons and we’ve developed a great relationship that fosters support and care. She is patient, fun, and wonderful as our pediatrician. Hands down, I wouldn’t go to anyone else. She’s the best out there.

We have been with Dr. Chen since both of my kids were newborns (over 11 years). As a new mom, she was exactly what I needed in a Pediatrician. She's compassionate and really cares about our entire family. She really listens to our concerns and I've never felt pushed into any particular treatment or protocol. On the occasion that we've needed to see a specialist, she's stayed available to help us make treatment decisions. We trust that she will be honest with us and that she truly cares about what is best for our kids. She's not a "one size fits all" kind of doctor and we feel lucky to be her patients.

Dr. Chen has been our pediatrician to our 4 children for 12+ years. She is excellent! And I highly recommend her! Each visit, she is patient, listens, and works with us to resolve every concern. She communicates well and knows how to make the kids feel comfortable, even when at times talking about uncomfortable topics. She has always been thorough; and I've never felt rushed during our appointments. Her focus is all on you when you're in her office. She's the BEST!

Dr. Chen is wonderful, knowledgeable, and caring. She really listens to my concerns and always makes me feel at ease. All three of my kids love her and her staff. We have been going to her for over ten years, and I’ve always been happy and satisfied with her services.

Dr. Irene Chen has been our family pediatrician for over 16+years. She is a highly skilled, caring, and compassionate physician. I trust her judgment completely. She has a wonderful rapport with her patients, and she puts her patient’s needs first. She is extremely patient, and takes care to explain the care decisions. I’ve always felt like I could ask her any question and get an honest answer, or a referral to someone who could answer my questions. I don’t feel rushed when we see her, and for that reason, I don’t mind if we need to wait, on occasion, so that she can give her complete attention to her patients. Her PA, Ashlee, is also amazing, and they make a fabulous team. I wish my daughters could remain under her care but they are aging out. I highly recommend Dr. Irene Chen to any family looking for an extraordinary pediatrician.

Dr Chen has been both of my childrens pediatrician since they were newborns, so a total of 13yrs. She has always been a wonderful doctor with a perfect bedside manner. She is so attentive to both the children and parents needs. She is always making herself available either in person or by phone if you need her. She has always returned our calls when either we had a question or needed something from her. She is so knowledgable when it comes to your childs health. I wish she also specialized in family practice so she could be my doctor.

Dr. Irene Chen is a WONDERFUL Pediatrician. She has been our pediatrician for almost 15 years. Dr. Chen is professional, knowledgeable, kind, and an active listener with our children. She is attentive to the child and parent and will explain clearly her thoughts at appropriate age level for the child and also to the parent. Dr. Chen’s staff is personable and considerate. We feel blessed to have found Dr. Chen!

Our visit was great! Dr. Chen was extremely thorough with my son’s exam and in addition to that, took the time to talk to him and connect! It is important to me that my children feel comfortable visiting the doctor’s office.

I could truly talk about how AMAZING Dr.Chen is all day! She has been my kids doctor for a very long time and we are always so comfortable with her. She's very attentive with my kids and I completely trust her with their well being. She always goes above and beyond and we truly look forward to seeing her. Her nurse is also amazing! ?

Dr. Chen has been our pediatrician for 15 years now. We have two teenage girls, she has taken the best care of my girls since they were babies. She has a great approach to listen and provide my girls with healthy guidance. Dr. Chen has built a solid foundation for my daughters to grow as young women and make healthy choices. She is so thorough and we have never felt rushed. If we have questions in between appointments, she has been responsive through emails. We highly recommend Dr. Chen to families!

Personable and takes the time to listen and understand the issues at hand. She met my kids needs and was able to see both at the same time. She was thorough and made sure they both understood what was going to happen in their appointment with no surprises which is important to me. She gave them reasonable choices and encouraged them to participate in their appointments in ways that were appropriate for their age. After the kids were seen she even checked to make sure my questions were answered as well. I can’t say enough about how thankful I am for the care she and her office provide for our family.

Dr. Chen has been my children's pediatrician for over 13 years. She is kind, caring and wonderful with my three children. Her office is very responsive with requests for last minute appointments when my kids are ill. I recommend Dr. Chen to all new mothers or friends just looking for a new pediatrician. She is AMAZING!!

Dr. Chen has been caring for my daughter who 3 1/2 years old, since we moved to the area when she was 8 months old. We were told about her from our realtor, and what a blessing it was to find her. She is amazing! She is so kind, caring and informative with our daughter and genuinely cares about her and us. She is thorough and never makes us feel rushed, and very personable. My daughter loves her, and her amazing nurse, Ashley, too (who is so gentle with her shots). If you take your child to her, it’ll be obvious that she found her calling. Her and Ashley are truly a blessing to our family.

My two children have been patients of Dr. Chen’s for the past 9 years. We moved here at that time and a friend recommended her. Dr. Chen genuinely cares about the children and families. She takes the time and energy to really talk with both the children as well as the parents. For example, Dr. Chen was so incredibly kind with me after the birth of my daughter with my struggles breast-feeding and some other newborn concerns. In addition, she really shows a great interest in the kids and their lives. I would highly recommend Dr. Chen! She is a truly great, patient, knowledgeable, and loving doctor!
