Dr. Ira Steinmetz, MD

Doctor Steinmetz has been my PCP for a while now, and I can confidently say that his practice is the most welcoming and "safe" one I've encountered. The office is very size inclusive, as well. I've been having appointments with him on a pretty regular basis due to chronic illness, and I can say that each appointment helps me heal from mistreatment I'd gotten and still get from doctors who do not understand the intricacies of unwillingly being plus sized in a skinny world. Prior to coming to Dr Steinmetz, I dreaded doctors appointments, not because I was sick but because I was going to invariably get a lecture despite the doc knowing why I wasn't losing weight. But now that I am seeing Dr Steinmetz, I feel seen in my symptoms and experiences, and not waved off simply because "oh you're fat and fat people have symptoms". I so deeply appreciate Doctor Steinmetz and the way he's redefined my perspective on my own standard of care. (oh, and his staff is so kind and present when needed, too)

Dr. Steinmetz is a wonderful, caring, professional and informative Dr! He has been our family's Dr. for over 20 years. He is caring and goes above and beyond for his patients! His office is beautiful, his staff are wonderful and there is next to no wait-time when visiting him. He is always on the ball. I highly recommend him to all my family, friends, co-workers and people within my community.

I have been a patient at Dr. Steinmetz office for my entire adult life. He is a professional and outstanding Doctor who has kept me healthy and kept me informed as well. I actually look forward to my check ups there where the entire staff is friendly and courteous. In this times of Covid 19 I found the office to be safe and immaculate. I felt very safe there and was very impressed with the way the office is now being run and meeting protocol. I highly recommend this Doctor. He is by far the best doctor in the tri-state area. This doctor told me that my cardiogram wasnt normal. He scheduled me for a very expensive test to be done at his office. When I asked me three times what was wrong. Hgv e didnt answer me. I decided to consult with a Cardiologist. Upon taking another EKG at his office. He told me my ekg was normal. After all his years of practicing, you would think he would know how to read an EKG. His mistake caused me a lot of worry and anxiety as I lost my father from heart disease.

We have been a patient of Dr. Steinmetz since he opened his practice. Our whole family loves him. He is a doctor with a great big heart that cares about his patients. His staff is always considerate and helpful. I have had to contact him on weekends numerous times. My mother and mother-in-law would not have lived into their 90's without his wonderful care. My husband recently had a stroke on a weekend and being able to contact him and speak to him gave our family comfort. He never rushes when we have a well visit or for a possible illness. He is always thorough with his exam and we never fear asking any questions (no matter how trivial). As strange as it might sound, we look forward to our visits (well or sick) with Dr. Steinmetz.

I have been a patient of Dr. Steinmetz for over 8 years. He is kind, warm, and very, very caring, and compassionate. And as a doctor, he absolutely, without a doubt, knows what he's doing...knowledgeable doctor! The office staff is friendly, and professionally efficient..... ......I tell everyone that he's "old school," which nowadays is the highest compliment.

Dr. Steinmetz's office staff are very efficient and friendly. Dr. Steinmetz is a very caring and thorough physician. He makes you feel comfortable in the office setting. He takes appropriate time in explaining and or clarifying issues as may be necessary.

We have been a Patient of Dr. Steinmetz for over 22 years and we find him to have a wonderful bedside manner. He is like an extension of our family, and shows concern about our health and keeping my wife and me healthy. He is an excellent Doctor that always knows what needs to be done when we are sick. We have full confidence in him, and I know he will take care of any health issues our family has.

The office has adequate seating, is light and clean-looking, staff is courteous. Dr. Steinmetz, too, is courteous and pleasant, doesn't rush you and will answer questions. Seems knowledgeable. Doesn't rush to medicate, but nor careless. Professional and friendly.

this is a Doctor that is a rear find ! I'm with him for years He is always there for you. he listens to you and never, never rushes you out ,No matter what is wrong with you if necessary he will send you to a Dr. who handles your special problem no one ever leaves with out results to the problem. All I really want to say weather it matters to you people or not He saved my life I'm a stage end 3 beginning stage 4 lung cancer person in remission 14yrs. now So thank you Doc. and God Bless
