Dr. Ingrid Bermudez, MD

The most thorough doctor. She is determined to find the source of the issue. Rather than mask with prescriptions. She genuinely cares! You can’t find that anymore these days. I’m so thankful that I found her. My daily life is more functional only because of her after years of health struggles.

Dr. Bermudez is a wonderful doctor, not only does she listen to your health concerns, but she always asks about family and friends, she honestly listens and cares about her patients. The staff at the office are the nicest, sweetest girls. They are always smiling and make you feel at home. I am very pleased with Dr. Bermudez and her awesome staff.

We have been a part of family medicine for 17 years now and leave every time having the confidence that I also have a huge input into my health. Leaving me feeling confident that I have been educated by not only an intelligent,empathetic provider,but a caring friend. I have referred many close friends and family to Dr.B and will continue to do so.

I just switched over about 6 months ago, they are so welcoming. Dr. Bermudez listens to your concerns and addresses each one. I never feel rush and never have to sit around waiting like most Dr. offices. If you have a emergency after hours staff is easy to get ahold of. Trust me this has happened twice now! Best place around!

Dr.Bermudez is an amazing doctor! She has helped me with my depression and acne. She also has been helping me work on my weight loss goals. She really cares about her patients. I’ve never met another doctor like her. I drive an hour and a half to see her and I don’t mind because the care I get is so genuine...

Well, my father had gone to her MANY times complaining of waking up with an extremely sore throat every morning. It got to the point where he begged her to do some tests and help. Imagine that, a patient has to beg a doctor to help them. She would write him off by saying he just needs to eat healthier or lose weight (not overweight). Sometimes she would write him a prescription for just pain management, without actually getting to the root cause of the problem. Finally, my mom made my dad go to an urgent care connected to a hospital, and it was a shock to our family when we were told that his sore throat was, in fact, due to Stage 4 Cancer. My father passed away 4 months after that diagnosis. He literally went to Bermudez for the past 2-3 years, and she refused to help. Imagine, a doctor who refuses to help her patients. It took the urgent care doctor less than an hour to come to this assessment. I believe she is the reason I can't speak to my father anymore.Please find someone else!

I went here once and this woman verbally abused me. Her first statement upon walking in the door was, “tell me about you weight”? I was shocked and began to provide an explanation when she abruptly interrupted me to ask me demeaning questions. She proceeded to ask me about medications And informed me that I should not be taking my GERD medicine and if I lost weight it would improve. She went on to ask me about my anxiety meds and asked extremely personal questions above and beyond what was needed. While I sat sobbing she told me that she would not be my doctor until I took better of myself and proceeded to tell me to call back when I was ready because she did not watch me die! Yes you read that right.

If you're looking for a primary care physician that truly cares, look no more. Throughout the years my wife and I have been patients of hers, Dr. Bermudez and her staff proved to be passionate about helping others, and on numerous occasions, Dr. Bermudez went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I are on the right track when it comes to our health and well-being. With her guidance on healthier life style habits, she has forever changed our life, and to that we are grateful. Dr. Bermudez is experienced, witty, smart and a good listener. We are lucky to have her as our primary care physician.

I've been a patient of Dr Bermudez for close to 5 years and I am far healthier now than when I first started seeing her. Her care has played a huge part in that. She's encouraged and supported me through some pretty significant health and lifestyle changes. I've always felt listened to and that we are a team. In addition to being a competent doctor, Dr B is a good person. Her genuine caring for people is evident. I don't even mind visits. I actually enjoy seeing her and the ladies in the office

The best thing I’ve ever done for my toddlers medical care was switching him from his previous pediatrician to Dr.Bermudez. I’m 100% confident in her abilities...not only as a highly-skilled doctor , but also as a gentle & compassionate person towards the needs of my little ones !

Nightmare. Dr. B. is overly possessed of ego and preoccupied with outward (physical) appearance. Overweight? She will judge you. She discounted the concerns of my friend (a longtime patient)--only when she saw another doctor did she get a proper diagnosis (for a serious disorder). The staff were incredibly rude to my daughter when she filled out an intake form incorrectly. When she apologized for her mistake, Dr. B. accused her of disrespecting her practice and "fired" her as a patient.

Dr.Bermudez has been my doctor for years and she is a super fantastic doctor. She is attentive to my needs,listens to me when I have problems and makes sure she addresses them all. She has an excellent bedside manner as well. Her staff is wonderful as well. If I need an emergency appointment,I can usually get right in. I’m beyond happy with ‘Family Medicine of Mechanicville’

I would highly recommend Dr Bermudez and her team. She is skilled, intelligent,compassionate and exceedingly kind. Because of her care and encouragement, I was able to lose 140 pounds and become much healthier - without weight loss surgery. I can't say enough good things about her and I am very glad I am a patient of Dr. Bermudez!

Dr. Bermudez is an amazing doctor. She is compassionate, intelligent and very intuitive. I never feel rushed and she take the time to listen to my concerns. Her staff is also so kind and help me with insurance issue when they can. If you are looking for a family doctor she is an excellent choice, I highly recommend her!

Dr. Bermudez is kind and warm. She listens and wants to know how you are doing in your whole life; for more of a holistic approach. She is not just about a score on a chart or one particular blood work count. Her staff is also very kind and warm. The entire practice is friendly and family friendly. It's a true family practice. I appreciate that new parents are supported in this office. They're giving the message that new Moms and their babies are important!

Dr Bermudez will only give prescription for 3 months at a time forcing you to come back. I have had friends go to her practice and eventually leave. Her staff are nice enough but terrible at drawing blood and on the unprofessional side to say the least. ..eating while on computer making appointments, bringing their children and pets to work with them. One time I was in exam room over a half hour before the dr came in. Dr called my friend a baby when Dr didn't numb the area properly for a procedu

Love this office! so calm, peaceful , fast paste ! All the employees are sweet. I have no complaints about my doctor ! Shes the best ! i appreciate how she takes the time out to listen to my concerns and she explains things very well. I feel much better understand my health conditions know the outcomes!

I don't like going to the Dr. specially because they are always on the case about loosing weight and all that. I feel Dr. Bermudez doesn't dismiss my symptoms on the premises of overweight; she really investigates health status during physicals. I appreciate her staff who is always kind and diligent.

I took my children in and she is amazing. Always available to answer my questions and respects my voice as a mother, which helps to avoid late visits to ER. Late work hours on Thursday for people that work. Very convenient.
