Dr. Indrani Gill, MD

Won't take appts. Does everything by phone,Not Telemed, very impersonal phone conversation. Had problems getting lab results. Left several worried messages, did not get a call back until 4 days later. The Dr. indicated that lab took longer than should have. It seems to me a caring Onocologist would have her nurse call and say test results were delayed. Her next words were you need a bone marrow biopsy! Then 3 days, the doctor called and fired me as her patient. Horrible experience!

I was referred to Dr. Gill in 2011 for follow up chemo after having surgery for colon cancer. All went well with that, and it was done in a very comfortable setting that your family member or friend could stay right there with you if you wanted. After that, I had follow up blood tests and visits every 6 months. She made sure I followed through on my post surgery colonoscopies, and on a couple of occasions had me get follow up scans. I remain cancer free, but last year my blood tests started showing some of the numbers getting too far out of the acceptable range, which she has now kept under control. Yes, sometimes (not always) there may be what seems like a long wait in the waiting room, but I have other doctors that I see with equally long waits. I never feel rushed when I see her, and she listens to everything I have to say and asks for my input on my treatment options. Just a note, Nurses Sherry and Augustina, who have been there the whole time that I've been going there, are great.

Horrible expirance with this office as far as treatment and interaction with Dr. Gill. Does not listen to your issues, is rude and her treatment was incorrect for my stage 3 cancer. We were told that she would have killed me with her combined Radiation with chemo so if this is you issue, get a second opinion at City of Hope and dont waster your precious moments with this incompetent doctor. She should be investigated by the medical board. Save your life, go else where

Waiting for an appointment up to 2 hours and 45 minutes is inexcusable. Further, to have this happen on more occasions than I can count is gross and egregious. On a few occasions this doctor would call us while we waited and say she cant make it in for what ever reason. I wonder if they actually understood how difficult it is to get a disabled senior citizen with stage 4 cancer to an appt? After 5 years, my mother passed and this doctor nor her staff even called to express any condolence.
